Mia er en vakker langtørret kvinne. Født 5. april 2019. Hun har kommet inn til omhoming fordi det er svært tragisk at eieren mottok livets sluttbehandling og har nå dødd. Hun er en skremt kat og trenger å lære deg kjenne først men elsker en mild oppmunding hvis hun kommer til deg og på hennes egne vilkår. Hun har vært vant til et stille hjem med bare én kvinne og ønsker et hjem uten barn eller hunder. Hun har aldri levd sammen med andre katter men snakket fint med andre katter når hun var utenfor. Hun gikk ikke langt men likte å ligge i solen i havna. Hun kan bære å bli børstet hvis du bare gjør en kort sesjon hver gang. Hun er sterilisert, vaksinert, mikrochippet og har ingen helseproblemer bortsett fra å være litt overvektig.

Ross, born in October, 2021 (estimate), came to Windyway in June '26. He's a lovely, handsome, chunky monkey who was originally trapped, neutered and returned (hence the clipped left ear) by a different charity, as a community cat. Unfortunately the caretaker had let the cats down by not fulfilling their responsibility and Ross wandered to another neighbourhood nearby where he was not welcome. He had reverted to living on his wits, letting himself into homes via cat flaps and upsetting resident cats, in an attempt to find food and kindness. A few people took pity on him and brought him to us which is when we were able to piece together his story via his microchip. He's neutered and microchipped, and has now started his vaccinations. Ross is a lovely boy who just needs a home to call his own. He's none aggressive but, due to his background of having to fend for himself, may fare better as an only cat so he's not having to share his food and space. He is good to be handled but doesn't yet seek affection although he is showing signs that he is enjoying attention more each day - he has spent too much of his life being chased away poor chap so it's understandable that he's wary initially. Ross would suit someone who is confident in handling cats and who has the patience to allow him the time and understanding he needs while he settles into a safe and welcoming home where we feel he'll soon be asserting that he is "large and in charge
