Stumpy er en lille kat, der den 21. oktober ankom til Triple A patruljen i et chokerende tilstand: han havde en åben såret på hælen, muligvis som resultat af en forbrænding. På grund af skadens alvorlighed var det nødvendigt at amputere hælene for at sikre dyrets velvære og undgå yderligere smerte og infektion. Trods alt, hvad han har været igennem, har Stumpy vist, at han er en sand kæmpe. Tabet af hælene hindrer ham ikke i at leve en helt normel liv. Han er legety, aktiv og social, og han lever godt sammen med andre katter, hvormed han forstår sig godt og føler sig trygt. I starten er han skræmt af mennesker, han har brug for tid til at blive vant og føle sig tryg, men når han får tillid, lader han sig kløe og viser sin blide side. Han har brug for en tålmodig familie, der respekterer hans tempo og giver ham plads til at opdage, at mennesker også kan være kilde til kærlighed og beskyttelse. Stumpy is a little kitten who arrived at Triple A on October 21 in a shocking condition. His tail was raw and open, likely as a result of a burn, and the severity of the injury made it necessary to amputate his tail to ensure his well-being and prevent further pain and infection. Despite everything he has been through, Stumpy has carried on with tremendous strength. The loss of his tail doesn’t prevent him from leading a completely normal life and doesn’t dampen his desire to play, explore, and enjoy life. He is a playful, active kitten who gets along well with other cats. He interacts well with them and enjoys their company, but he doesn’t need to live with another cat to be happy. Stumpy can easily find his place as the family’s only cat, as long as he receives the love, attention, and stimulation he needs. He may seem shy around people at first and needs a little time to feel safe. Once he gains confidence, he lets you pet him and begins to show the sweet side he has inside. Stumpy needs a patient family that respects his pace and allows him to discover, little by little, that people can also offer him love, security, and protection. After everything he’s been through, Stumpy deserves to leave his past behind and discover what it means to have a real home, where he can feel loved and safe forever. 💛 📩 📸
