Stumpy es un gato de raza mazs que llegó al refugio Triple A el 21 de octubre en un estado shockeante: tenía una herida abierta en la cola, posiblemente como resultado de una quemadura. Debido a la gravedad de la lesión fue necesario amputarle la cola para garantizar el bienestar del animal y evitar más dolor e infección. A pesar de todo lo que ha sufrido, Stumpy ha demostrado ser un verdadero luchador. La pérdida de la cola no le impide vivir una vida completamente normal. Es un gato juguetón, activo y sociable que se lleva muy bien con otros gatos con quienes se entiende muy bien y se siente seguro. Al principio es tímido con las personas, necesita tiempo para acostumbrarse y sentirse seguro, pero cuando gana confianza, permite que lo acaricien y muestra su lado tierno. Necesita una familia paciente que respete su ritmo y le permita descubrir que las personas también pueden ser fuentes de amor y protección. Stumpy is a little kitten who arrived at Triple A on October 21 in a shocking condition. His tail was raw and open, likely as a result of a burn, and the severity of the injury made it necessary to amputate his tail to ensure his well-being and prevent further pain and infection. Despite everything he has been through, Stumpy has carried on with tremendous strength. The loss of his tail doesn’t prevent him from leading a completely normal life and doesn’t dampen his desire to play, explore, and enjoy life. He is a playful, active kitten who gets along well with other cats. He interacts well with them and enjoys their company, but he doesn’t need to live with another cat to be happy. Stumpy can easily find his place as the family’s only cat, as long as he receives the love, attention, and stimulation he needs. He may seem shy around people at first and needs a little time to feel safe. Once he gains confidence, he lets you pet him and begins to show the sweet side he has inside. Stumpy needs a patient family that respects his pace and allows him to discover, little by little, that people can also offer him love, security, and protection.
