Stumpy é um gato que chegou ao abrigo Triple A em 21 de outubro em um estado chocante: ele tinha uma ferida aberta na cauda, provavelmente como resultado de queimadura. Devido à gravidade da lesão, foi necessário amputar a cauda para garantir o bem-estar do animal e evitar dor e infecção adicionais. Apesar de tudo pelo que ele passou, Stumpy provou ser um verdadeiro lutador. A perda da cauda não impede que ele viva uma vida totalmente normal. Ele é um gato brincalhão, ativo e sociável que se dá muito bem com outros gatos, com os quais se entende muito bem e se sente seguro. Inicialmente, ele é tímido com as pessoas, precisa de tempo para se acostumar e se sentir seguro, mas quando ganha confiança, ele permite que o toquem e mostra sua lado carinhoso. Ele precisa de uma família paciente que respeite seu ritmo e o deixe descobrir que as pessoas também podem ser fontes de amor e proteção. Stumpy is a little kitten who arrived at Triple A on October 21 in a shocking condition. His tail was raw and open, likely as a result of a burn, and the severity of the injury made it necessary to amputate his tail to ensure his well-being and prevent further pain and infection. Despite everything he has been through, Stumpy has carried on with tremendous strength. The loss of his tail doesn’t prevent him from leading a completely normal life and doesn’t dampen his desire to play, explore, and enjoy life. He is a playful, active kitten who gets along well with other cats. He interacts well with them and enjoys their company, but he doesn’t need to live with another cat to be happy. Stumpy can easily find his place as the family’s only cat, as long as he receives the love, attention, and stimulation he needs. He may seem shy around people at first and needs a little time to feel safe. Once he gains confidence, he lets you pet him and begins to show the sweet side he has inside. Stumpy needs a patient family that respects his pace and allows him to discover, little by little, that people can also offer him love, security, and protection.
