Stumpy is a small kitten who arrived at the Triple A shelter on October 21 in a shocking condition: he had an open wound on his tail, likely caused by a burn. Due to the severity of the injury, it was necessary to amputate his tail to ensure the animal’s well-being and prevent further pain and infection. Despite everything he has been through, Stumpy has proven to be a true fighter. The loss of his tail does not prevent him from living a completely normal life. He is a playful, active, and sociable kitten who gets along well with other cats, with whom he has a great rapport and feels safe. At first, he is shy around people; he needs time to get used to his surroundings and feel secure, but once he gains trust, he lets himself be petted and shows his gentle side. He needs a patient family that respects his pace and allows him to discover that people can also be a source of love and protection.
