Dieser elegante Herr ist als Jack-dee bekannt, er ist groß, dunkel und attraktiv und etwa 4-5 Jahre alt. Er hat eine sehr sanfte Natur, Jack-dee hat sich gut in seine neuen Umgebungen eingewöhnt. Er ist mit seinen neuen Freunden unterwegs gewesen, hat die Gerüche genossen und alles aufgenommen. Jack-dee ist ein Gentleman, er hat gute Leinenmannschaft und lässt sich von vorbeigehenden Hunden nicht stören. Jack-dee ist noch nicht sehr vertraut mit dem Verkehr auf den Straßen, er mag jedoch zusehen und nahe an geparkten Vans stehen. Wir können nur vermuten, dass er ein halb ländliches Leben fernab stark befahrter Gebiete geführt hat. Sein Selbstbewusstsein wächst täglich, während er an den belebten Verkehrsgebieten entlang geht und für seine Tapferkeit belohnt wird. Er lehnt sich zu Versicherungskuscheln, wenn er sich in unklaren Situationen etwas überwältigt fühlt. Mit der Unterstützung seiner neuen Menschen und einer liebenden Familie wird dieser Junge gedeihen. Als Lurcher können wir uns vorstellen, dass Jack-dee gerne mehrmals pro Woche Zugang zu einem eingezäunten Feld hätte, um sicher zu laufen. Er würde von Trainingskursen profitieren, um sein Selbstbewusstsein weiter zu stärken, sobald er sich in sein neues Leben eingewöhnt hat. Jack-dee könnte potenziell mit Kindern ab 10 Jahren leben, die Respekt vor seinem Raum haben. Er könnte möglicherweise mit einer robusten weiblichen Lurcherin ähnlicher Größe leben. All dies hängt von den Einführungen im Zentrum ab.

Tall, dark and incredibly handsome, Jack dee is approximately 4–5 years old and has the softest, gentlest soul. Since arriving with us he has settled beautifully into his new surroundings, taking comfort in kind people, quiet reassurance and little adventures with his new friends. Jack dee loves being out exploring the world at his own pace, taking in all the sniffs and enjoying the simple things in life. He has also spent time in foster where he settled wonderfully, showing just how much love he has to give once he feels safe. Like many dogs who have experienced abandonment, Jack dee can struggle at times with being left alone and can be reactive on lead when feeling worried. His foster has been working hard on this and he is already making lovely progress. He just needs patient humans who understand that trust, confidence and security take time to grow. Busy roads and traffic are still quite overwhelming for him and we believe he may have previously lived a quieter semi rural life. Despite this, Jack dee is trying so hard every single day. He bravely walks near busier areas, checking in with his humans for comfort and reassurance when he feels unsure. One of the sweetest things about him is how he gently leans in for cuddles when he needs a little confidence boost. Underneath it all is a loving, sensitive boy who simply wants to feel safe and loved. With kindness, routine and continued encouragement, Jack dee is going to absolutely blossom in the right home. As a lurcher, Jack dee would adore access to a secure enclosed field where he can stretch his legs, run freely and enjoy life the way lurchers do best. He would also benefit from ongoing training classes once settled to continue building his confidence and social skills. Jack dee could potentially live with respectful children aged 10+ and may also suit living with a calm, robust female lurcher of a similar size. All introductions will take place at the centre.
