Questo elegante esemplare si chiama Jack-dee, è alto, scuro e affascinante e ha circa 4-5 anni. Ha una natura molto dolce, Jack-dee si è adattato bene al suo nuovo ambiente. È uscito a esplorare con i suoi nuovi amici, godendosi le passeggiate e prendendo tutto in considerazione. Jack-dee è un gentiluomo, ha buone maniere con la guida e non si preoccupa dei cani che passano. Jack-dee non è molto abituato al traffico sulle strade, tuttavia gli piace guardare e fermarsi vicino ai furgoni parcheggiati. Possiamo solo supporre che abbia vissuto una vita semi rurale lontano dalle aree con molto traffico. La sua sicurezza cresce ogni giorno, camminando lungo le aree con tanto traffico e venendo premiato per la sua coraggiosa. Si avvicina per ottenere abbracci di conforto quando si sente un po' sopraffatto nelle situazioni incerte. Con il supporto dei suoi nuovi umani e una casa amorosa, questo ragazzo prospererà. Essendo un lurcher, possiamo immaginare che Jack-dee adorerebbe aver accesso a un campo chiuso alcune volte a settimana per correre in modo sicuro. Gli sarebbe utile frequentare corsi di addestramento per continuare a costruire la sua sicurezza, una volta che si sarà adattato alla sua nuova vita. Jack-dee potrebbe vivere con bambini di 10 anni o più che rispettano il suo spazio. Potrebbe anche vivere con una cagna lurcher robusta della stessa taglia. Tall, dark and incredibly handsome, Jack dee is approximately 4–5 years old and has the softest, gentlest soul. Since arriving with us he has settled beautifully into his new surroundings, taking comfort in kind people, quiet reassurance and little adventures with his new friends. Jack dee loves being out exploring the world at his own pace, taking in all the sniffs and enjoying the simple things in life. He has also spent time in foster where he settled wonderfully, showing just how much love he has to give once he feels safe. Like many dogs who have experienced abandonment, Jack dee can struggle at times with being left alone and can be reactive on lead when feeling worried. His foster has been working hard on this and he is already making lovely progress. He just needs patient humans who understand that trust, confidence and security take time to grow. Busy roads and traffic are still quite overwhelming for him and we believe he may have previously lived a quieter semi rural life. Despite this, Jack dee is trying so hard every single day. He bravely walks near busier areas, checking in with his humans for comfort and reassurance when he feels unsure. One of the sweetest things about him is how he gently leans in for cuddles when he needs a little confidence boost. Underneath it all is a loving, sensitive boy who simply wants to feel safe and loved. With kindness, routine and continued encouragement, Jack dee is going to absolutely blossom in the right home. As a lurcher, Jack dee would adore access to a secure enclosed field where he can stretch his legs, run freely and enjoy life the way lurchers do best. He would also benefit from ongoing training classes once settled to continue building his confidence and social skills. Jack dee could potentially live with respectful children aged 10+ and may also suit living with a calm, robust female lurcher of a similar size. All introductions will take place at the centre.
