Milan ist ein 3-jähriger Rassekreuz aus Rumänien, mit einem Gewicht von etwa 21 kg. Dieser mittelgroße Junge hat viel erlebt, aber sein sanftmütiger Geist und sein herzzerreißendes „Lächeln“ strahlen durch. Er kann bei ersten Begegnungen mit neuen Menschen oder ungewohnten Situationen etwas sensibel und ängstlich sein. Sobald er jedoch lernt, Ihnen zu vertrauen, wird Milan unglaublich zärtlich und liebt es, Zeit mit seinen Menschen zu verbringen. Er hat auch eine spielerische Seite – er genießt Spielzeuge, Spiele und Spaziergänge an der Leine. Milan verträgt sich gut mit anderen Hunden und könnte, mit vorsichtigen Vorstellungen, gerne mit einem Hundebegleiter leben. Er hat bereits einen Katze kennengelernt und zeigte kaum Interesse, bis sie weglief – dann setzte die Jagdinstinkte ein – daher wäre ein haustierfreies Zuhause (oder eines mit einer sehr hundesicheren Katze) am besten. Es ist unwahrscheinlich, dass Milan vorher in einem Zuhause gelebt hat, sodass er Unterstützung beim Toilettentraining und beim Anpassen an das häusliche Leben benötigen könnte. Aufgrund seiner Anfangsunsicherheit wäre er am besten geeignet für ein ruhiges Zuhause ohne Kinder oder ältere, hundekundige Kinder. Trotz allem, was er erlebt hat, ist Milan ein glücklicher, liebevoller Mensch. Mit Geduld, Sicherheit und Zeit zum Anpassen, wird er zu einem treuen und ergebenen Begleiter werden. Er ist vollständig geimpft, mit einem Mikrochip versehen und parasitenfrei, sowie kastriert.

Milan is a gorgeous 3-year-old crossbreed from Romania, weighing around 21kg. This lovely medium-sized boy has been through a lot, but despite everything, his gentle nature and heart-warming “smile” continue to shine through. Milan can be a little sensitive and nervous when meeting new people or finding himself in unfamiliar situations. But once he learns that he can trust you, you’ll see a completely different side of him. He becomes incredibly affectionate, loves spending time with his humans and has a wonderfully playful personality too. He enjoys toys, games and exploring. He also loves going for walks and having plenty of time to stop and enjoy a good sniff, and he walks beautifully on the lead. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and has made lots of lovely doggy friends during his time at Islay. He particularly enjoys having a good play and romp around with his canine pals in the secure area. With careful introductions, we feel Milan could happily share his forever home with another friendly dog. Milan has met a cat previously and showed very little interest — until the cat ran! His chase instinct then kicked in, so we feel a cat-free home would be best, unless there is a very dog-savvy cat who is accustomed to living with dogs. It is unlikely that Milan has ever lived in a home before, so his new family will need to be patient and understanding as he learns all about domestic life. He may need some support with toilet training, settling into a home and discovering all the wonderful things that come with being a much-loved pet. Sadly, Milan is beginning to show signs of sadness. He has watched many of his doggy friends leave Islay for their forever homes while he has been left behind. Now, it is Milan’s turn.
