Milan est un croisé de 3 ans venu de Roumanie, pesant environ 21 kg. Ce garçon de taille moyenne a connu beaucoup de choses, mais son esprit doux et son sourire réconfortant ressortent. Il peut être un peu sensible et nerveux lorsqu'il rencontre de nouvelles personnes ou fait face à des situations inconnues. Cependant, une fois qu'il apprend à vous faire confiance, Milan devient extrêmement affectueux et aime passer du temps avec ses humains. Il a aussi un côté joueur : il apprécie les jouets, les jeux et marche très bien en laisse. Milan s'entend bien avec d'autres chiens et, avec des présentations soigneuses, pourrait vivre heureusement avec un compagnon canin. Il a déjà rencontré un chat et n'a montré peu d'intérêt jusqu'à ce qu'il parte en courant - alors l'instinct de chasse s'est activé - donc un foyer sans chat (ou avec un chat très expérimenté) serait le mieux adapté. Il est peu probable que Milan ait vécu dans un foyer auparavant, donc il pourrait avoir besoin d'aide pour l'entraînement aux toilettes et s'adapter à la vie domestique. En raison de sa méfiance initiale, il conviendrait le mieux à un foyer calme sans enfants ou avec des enfants plus âgés qui connaissent les chiens. Malgré tout ce qu'il a traversé, Milan est un âme joyeuse et aimante. Avec de la patience, des rassurances et du temps pour s'adapter, il s'épanouira en un compagnon fidèle et dévoué. Il est totalement vacciné, pucé, traité contre les parasites et stérilisé.

Milan is a gorgeous 3-year-old crossbreed from Romania, weighing around 21kg. This lovely medium-sized boy has been through a lot, but despite everything, his gentle nature and heart-warming “smile” continue to shine through. Milan can be a little sensitive and nervous when meeting new people or finding himself in unfamiliar situations. But once he learns that he can trust you, you’ll see a completely different side of him. He becomes incredibly affectionate, loves spending time with his humans and has a wonderfully playful personality too. He enjoys toys, games and exploring. He also loves going for walks and having plenty of time to stop and enjoy a good sniff, and he walks beautifully on the lead. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and has made lots of lovely doggy friends during his time at Islay. He particularly enjoys having a good play and romp around with his canine pals in the secure area. With careful introductions, we feel Milan could happily share his forever home with another friendly dog. Milan has met a cat previously and showed very little interest — until the cat ran! His chase instinct then kicked in, so we feel a cat-free home would be best, unless there is a very dog-savvy cat who is accustomed to living with dogs. It is unlikely that Milan has ever lived in a home before, so his new family will need to be patient and understanding as he learns all about domestic life. He may need some support with toilet training, settling into a home and discovering all the wonderful things that come with being a much-loved pet. Sadly, Milan is beginning to show signs of sadness. He has watched many of his doggy friends leave Islay for their forever homes while he has been left behind. Now, it is Milan’s turn.
