Prinzessin Nella ist die Herrscherin des Finca! Prinzessin Nella ist die Herrscherin des Finca! Diese kleine süße Stute ist die beste Freundin unserer wunderschönen Fantasma. Sie lebt ein Leben im Luxus, aber es war nicht immer so für sie – ganz im Gegenteil. Als Nella zu uns kam, konnte sie kaum stehen. Sie hatte Knochen, die ihr Fell an den Hüften und Beinen gesprengt und ihre Beine waren in jede Richtung gebogen. Dieses arme Mädchen leidet unter Hypermobilität, Sehnenverletzungen und aufgrund ihres Zustands bei ihrer Ankunft war es sehr schwierig für sie, die Bewegungen ihrer Beine gut zu kontrollieren. Oft führte dies dazu, dass sie über etwas stolperte und dadurch mehr Prellungen und Kratzer erhielt, ihre Schwäche und die Muskeldeterioration verschlimmerten die Situation nur noch. Sie wurde früher mit Stroh und rohen Kartoffeln gefüttert, was gerade ausreichte, um sie am Leben zu erhalten. Wir haben nicht damit gerechnet, dass sie eine so große Genesung durchmachen und heute die blühende, entschlossene, eigensinnige Stute sein würde, die sie ist. Nella ist einer unserer frühen Retten, unsere erste Stute mit einem offensichtlichen großen Wandel, bevor wir mit der Technologie, dem Bloggen/Vlogging und der Aufzeichnung alles, was wir tun, aktuell waren. Wir sind traurig, dass wir keine frühen Fotos von ihr haben, um ihre dramatischen Veränderungen im Laufe der Jahre, die sie bei uns erlebt hat, zu vergleichen. Aber wir können Ihnen sagen, dass die Verwandlung ziemlich beeindruckend ist. Sie mag nicht Ihr typischer Showstandard-Hengst mit korrekter Konformation und fließenden Gangarten sein, sie hat Schwierigkeiten, Muskelmasse zu behalten und ihre Oberlinie ist immer unvollständig. Aber sie ist dort, wo sie hingehört und ihr Körper kümmert sich um sie, es ist egal, dass sie manchmal wie ein Kamel im falschen Licht aussieht, aufgrund ihrer riesigen Schulterblätter. Sie ist glücklich, gesund und von allen geliebt. Prinzessin Nella ist wirklich schön von innen und außen. Wir arbeiten weiterhin mit allen Tierärzten zusammen, um zu sehen, ob wir Nellas Zustand mit anderen Optionen verbessern können.

Princess Nella is the lady of the finca!Princess Nella is the lady of the finca! This little sweet mare is best friends with our lovely Fantasma. She has a life of luxury, but it has not always been this way for her – far from it. When Nella came to us, she was barely able to stand. She had bones bursting her skin at the hips and legs that bowed in every direction. This poor girl has hyper mobility, tendon damage and, with the condition she arrived in, it was very hard for her to control the movements of her legs well. Often resulting in her tripping over and causing more bumps and scratches, her lack of strength and muscle deterioration only adding to the situation. She was previously fed on straw and raw potatoes, barely keeping her alive. We didn't expect her to have such a huge recovery and be the thriving, determined, opinionated horse that she is today. Nella is one of our early rescues, our first horse with an obvious huge transformation before we were up to date with technology, blogging/vlogging and recording everything as we do it. We are sad that we have no early photos of her to compare her drastic changes over the years she has been with us. But we can tell you the transformation is pretty incredible. She may not be your typical show standard horse with correct confirmation and flowing gaits, she struggles to keep on muscle and her top line is always lacking. But she is where she was meant to be and her body looks after her, it doesn’t matter that she often resembles a camel in the wrong light, due to her huge withers. She is happy, healthy and loved by all. Princess Nella is truly beautiful inside and out. We are continuing to work with all vets to see if we can improve Nella's condition with any other options.
