Ο Elvis έφτασε σε πολύ νεαρή ηλικία. Και ζούσε αρκετά χρόνια στο κτηνιατρικό τμήμα, όπου τραγουδούσε στο κλειστό του, φαγούσε σα να μην υπήρχε αύριο, και ξανατραγούδησε. Καθώς βρισκόταν στο κτηνιατρικό τμήμα, μέχρι να ολοκληρώσει τις εμβολιασμούς του, φορούσε την ζώνη του και έκανε βόλτες για να κοινωνικοποιηθεί και να γνωρίσει τον κόσμο, τις οσμές του και τα θόρυβα του. Αργότερα ήρθε στο φιλανθρωπικό κέντρο, όπου ζει με άλλα μικρά σκυλιά, και τώρα μετά την πλήρη εμβολιαστική αγωγή ξεκίνησε να κάνει κανονικά βόλτες. Ζούσε σε ένα σπίτι για ένα μήνα όταν ήταν περίπου επτά μηνών, ήταν καθαρός, καλός στις βόλτες και είχε μάθει την καραμπόλα. Είναι ένα σκυλί που έχει εργαστεί από πολύ νεαρή ηλικία και έχει μάθει όλα τα πράγματα που μπορεί να μάθει ένα σκυλί σε ένα φιλανθρωπικό κέντρο: περίπατος με σκοινί, βασικές εντολές κλπ. Είναι εξαιρετικά συνεργάσιμος και υπακούων στο άτομο που το έχει εκπαιδεύσει και στο οποίο έχει εμπιστοσύνη, αλλά δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα φιλικός με ξένους. Δεν του αρέσει να συναντά ανθρώπους στις βόλτες ή να πετάξει, και δεν είναι φιλικός με ξένους στο σπίτι. Είναι φιλικός προς άλλα σκυλιά και γάτες. Elvis came to us when he was very young. A tiny little creature with two shiny bead-like eyes. He spent quite some time at the veterinary clinic, eating as if there were no tomorrow and then seeking everyone's attention over and over again. While he was staying at the clinic and completing his vaccination schedule, he wore his harness and went on short outings in our arms so he could begin socializing and getting familiar with the world, its smells, and its sounds. Later, he moved to the shelter, where he lived alongside other puppies and, once fully vaccinated, started going on regular walks. When he was around seven months old, he spent a month in a home environment. During that time, he learned to toilet outside, walked nicely on a leash, and became crate trained. Elvis has been carefully guided and worked with from a very young age and knows everything a shelter dog can realistically learn: walking on a leash, basic commands, and how to navigate the outside world. He is extremely cooperative and obedient with people he knows well and trusts, but he is not particularly comfortable around strangers. He does not enjoy meeting new people on walks or being petted by unfamiliar individuals, and he is not friendly toward strangers entering his home. However, he gets along well with other dogs and cats. Elvis needs time to build trust and feel comfortable around new people. He shows no signs of aggression whatsoever, but he is cautious and will not tolerate intrusive handling from someone he has not yet learned to trust. He would thrive in a home with a predictable routine, without a large family or a constant flow of visitors. Elvis is the kind of dog who will form a deep bond with his people, provided he receives basic training and clear, consistent guidance, allowing him to settle into a home and live harmoniously as part of a family.
