Elvis est venu à nous très jeune. Et il a vécu assez longtemps dans le cabinet vétérinaire, où il faisait son danse dans la cage, et mangeait comme s'il n'y avait pas de demain, puis dansait à nouveau. Pendant qu'il était au cabinet vétérinaire, jusqu'à ce qu'il ait terminé ses vaccinations, il portait son harnais et sortait pour des promenades afin de se socialiser, et de découvrir le monde, ses odeurs et ses bruits. Il est ensuite venu au refuge, où il vit avec d'autres chiots, et maintenant qu'il a reçu toutes ses vaccinations, il commence à sortir normalement pour des promenades. Il a vécu dans un foyer pendant un mois lorsqu'il avait environ sept mois, il était propre, bon en promenade, et avait appris la caisse. C'est un chien qui a été travaillé dès un âge très jeune et a appris tout ce qu'un chien peut apprendre dans un refuge : marcher en laisse, ordres de base, etc. Il est extrêmement coopératif et obéissant avec la personne qui l'a travaillé et en qui il a confiance, mais il n'est pas particulièrement sympathique avec les étrangers. Il n'aime pas rencontrer des gens pendant les promenades ou être caressé, et il n'est pas sympathique avec les étrangers à la maison. Il est sympathique avec les autres chiens et les chats. C'est un chien qui ne s'attache qu'à sa famille, et avec une formation de base, il pourra vivre en harmonie dans une maison. VIDEO VIDEO 2

Elvis came to us when he was very young. A tiny little creature with two shiny bead-like eyes. He spent quite some time at the veterinary clinic, eating as if there were no tomorrow and then seeking everyone's attention over and over again. While he was staying at the clinic and completing his vaccination schedule, he wore his harness and went on short outings in our arms so he could begin socializing and getting familiar with the world, its smells, and its sounds. Later, he moved to the shelter, where he lived alongside other puppies and, once fully vaccinated, started going on regular walks. When he was around seven months old, he spent a month in a home environment. During that time, he learned to toilet outside, walked nicely on a leash, and became crate trained. Elvis has been carefully guided and worked with from a very young age and knows everything a shelter dog can realistically learn: walking on a leash, basic commands, and how to navigate the outside world. He is extremely cooperative and obedient with people he knows well and trusts, but he is not particularly comfortable around strangers. He does not enjoy meeting new people on walks or being petted by unfamiliar individuals, and he is not friendly toward strangers entering his home. However, he gets along well with other dogs and cats. Elvis needs time to build trust and feel comfortable around new people. He shows no signs of aggression whatsoever, but he is cautious and will not tolerate intrusive handling from someone he has not yet learned to trust. He would thrive in a home with a predictable routine, without a large family or a constant flow of visitors. Elvis is the kind of dog who will form a deep bond with his people, provided he receives basic training and clear, consistent guidance, allowing him to settle into a home and live harmoniously as part of a family.
