Elvis kwam bij ons erg jong. En hij woonde lang genoeg in het dierenziekenhuis, waar hij zijn dansje maakte in de kooi, en at alsof er geen morgen was, en dan weer danste. Tijdens zijn verblijf in het dierenziekenhuis, tot hij zijn vaccinaties had voltooid, droeg hij zijn riem en ging hij wandelen om te socialiseren en de wereld te leren kennen, haar geuren en geluiden. Later kwam hij naar de opvang, waar hij samen met andere puppen woont, en nu na alle vaccinaties begon hij normaal te wandelen. Hij woonde in een thuis voor een maand toen hij ongeveer zeven maanden oud was, hij was schoon, goed op wandelingen, en had de kooi geleerd. Het is een hond die van erg jong af is behandeld en alles heeft geleerd wat een hond in een opvang kan leren: aan de lijn lopen, basiscommando's, etc. Hij is extreem meewerkend en gehoorzaam tegenover de persoon die met hem heeft gewerkt en die hij vertrouwt, maar hij is niet speciaal vriendelijk tegen vreemden. Hij vindt het niet leuk mensen te ontmoeten tijdens wandelingen of gestreeld te worden, en hij is niet vriendelijk tegen vreemden thuis. Hij is vriendelijk tegen andere honden en katten. Het is een hond die zich alleen zal binden aan zijn familie, en met basisopleiding zal hij in staat zijn om harmonieus in een huis te leven. VIDEO VIDEO 2

Elvis came to us when he was very young. A tiny little creature with two shiny bead-like eyes. He spent quite some time at the veterinary clinic, eating as if there were no tomorrow and then seeking everyone's attention over and over again. While he was staying at the clinic and completing his vaccination schedule, he wore his harness and went on short outings in our arms so he could begin socializing and getting familiar with the world, its smells, and its sounds. Later, he moved to the shelter, where he lived alongside other puppies and, once fully vaccinated, started going on regular walks. When he was around seven months old, he spent a month in a home environment. During that time, he learned to toilet outside, walked nicely on a leash, and became crate trained. Elvis has been carefully guided and worked with from a very young age and knows everything a shelter dog can realistically learn: walking on a leash, basic commands, and how to navigate the outside world. He is extremely cooperative and obedient with people he knows well and trusts, but he is not particularly comfortable around strangers. He does not enjoy meeting new people on walks or being petted by unfamiliar individuals, and he is not friendly toward strangers entering his home. However, he gets along well with other dogs and cats. Elvis needs time to build trust and feel comfortable around new people. He shows no signs of aggression whatsoever, but he is cautious and will not tolerate intrusive handling from someone he has not yet learned to trust. He would thrive in a home with a predictable routine, without a large family or a constant flow of visitors. Elvis is the kind of dog who will form a deep bond with his people, provided he receives basic training and clear, consistent guidance, allowing him to settle into a home and live harmoniously as part of a family.
