Ο Ραβελιν φτάνει σε μας από έναν παραγωγό για να βρει το δικό της τέλειο σπίτι. Από την άφιξή της ήταν ένα πολύ ανησυχημένο κοριτσι ό,τι ήταν πολύ ευαίσθητο στην επαφή και ξεκάθαρα δεν είχε συνηθίσει να χειρίζεται. Από τότε έχει ξεκινήσει να βγαίνει από το κελί της και έχει δείξει ότι είναι ένα πολύ χαριτωμένο κοριτσι. Μπορεί να είναι λίγο φοβισμένο αρχικά και να τρέξει αρχικά, αλλά όταν είστε στο κελί της, της φτάνει γρήγορα για να χαιρετήσει, χαιρετίζοντάς σας με υπομονετικά χειροκροτήματα και ένα ανεμιστόρι. Είναι ακόμα ανησυχημένος για την επεξεργασία, αλλά εργαζόμαστε μαζί της καθημερινά. Προσπαθεί πολύ να είναι θρασύς και νιώθουμε ότι το πραγματικό της χαρακτήρα θα ξεκινήσει να διαφανεί όταν θα σταθεί σε ένα ζεστό σπίτι. Θα αναζητεί ένα ήρεμο και ηρεμικό σπίτι με υιοθετητές που θα της επιτρέψουν να εξοικειωθεί στο δικό της ρυθμό. Βρίσκει άνεση και ασφάλεια από τους φίλους της στο κελί της, οπότε θα χρειαστεί τουλάχιστον ένα άλλο φίλο και αξιόπιστο ζώο στο νέο της σπίτι για να της βοηθήσει να νιώσει ασφαλής και να της δώσει καθοδήγηση καθώς αρχίζει να κατασκευάζει την αυτοπεποίθησή της. Επειδή ποτέ δεν ζούσε σε ένα σπίτι, ο Ραβελιν χρειάζεται ήρεμους, υποστηρικτικούς υιοθετητές που θα της βοηθήσουν να μάθει τα βασικά, όπως την οικιακή εκπαίδευση, και να της παρουσιάσει σταδιακά τα βλέμματα και τα ήχους της ζωής στο σπίτι. Θα πρέπει επίσης να μάθει όλα για την άσκηση με την τσάντα και την ζώνη και θα χρειαστεί να εξασκηθεί στο κήπο ενώ κατασκευάζει την αυτοπεποίθησή της. Μπορεί να ζει με αργότερα τελειοδιδασκαλευμένα παιδιά που κατανοούν την σημασία της παροχής χώρου που χρειάζεται για να αναπτυχθεί. Ο Ραβελιν απλά περιμένει κάποιον να πάρει τον κίνδυνο να της δώσει την αγάπη, την υπομονή και την ανασφάλεια που της αξίζει. Έχει φτάσει σε μας με ένα ίσχιο στο πίσω μέρος του ώμου της και σκληρότητα στα πίσω πόδια της που παρακολουθούνται. Αυτό το σκύλο μπορεί να ζει με ένα ζώο στην ιδιοκτησία.

Ravelin has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was a very worried girl who was quite touch sensitive and clearly wasn't used to being handled. Since then she has started to come out of her shell and has shown that she's a very sweet girl. She can be a little shy at first and may run away initially, but once you’re in the kennel she soon comes over to say hello, greeting you with gentle hand licks and a waggy tail. She is still worried about handling, but we are working with her on this daily. She is trying her best to be brave and we feel her true personality will really blossom once she settles into a loving home. Ravelin is making good progress with those who she knows and is starting to trust, but she is still learning that other humans can be kind too and sometimes this process can take a little while. That being said Ravelin takes treats from anyone offering, the way to this girls heart is definitely through her stomach! She will be be best suited to a calm and quiet home with adopters who will let her settle in at her own pace. She finds comfort and security in her kennel friends, so she will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her feel safe and to guide her as she begins to build her confidence. She truly adores the company of other dogs and gets on will all dogs; big or small. In the yard you see her cheeky personality shine through, wriggling around, sunbathing, chasing her friends around. As she has never lived in a home before, Ravelin will need gentle, supportive adopters who can help her learn the basics, such as house training, and gradually introduce her to the sights and sounds of home life. She could live with older dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving her the space she needs to grow. Raveline doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness and will need to practice in the garden as she builds confidence. She has started learning about harness training here, but we are taking this slowly at her pace. Ravelin is simply waiting for someone to take a chance on her and provide the love, patience, and reassurance she deserves. She has come to us with an abscess on the back of her shoulder and joint stiffness in her back legs that are being monitored. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
