Ravelin è arrivata da un allevatore per trovare la sua casa per sempre. Quando è arrivata era una ragazza molto preoccupata, sensibile al tocco e chiaramente non abituata a essere manipolata. Da allora ha iniziato a uscire dal suo guscio e ha dimostrato di essere una ragazza molto dolce. Può essere un po' timida all'inizio e potrebbe scappare all'inizio, ma una volta che sei nella gabbia, presto viene a salutarti, ti dà dei baci delicati sulle mani e una coda che si muove felice. È ancora preoccupata per il contatto, ma lavoriamo con lei ogni giorno. Sta cercando di essere coraggiosa e sentiamo che la sua vera personalità sboccerà davvero una volta che si stabilirà in una casa piena d'amore. Cerca una casa tranquilla e silenziosa con adottatori che le permettano di ambientarsi a suo ritmo. Trova comfort e sicurezza nei suoi amici della gabbia, quindi avrà bisogno di almeno un altro cane gentile e sicuro nel suo nuovo ambiente per aiutarla a sentirsi al sicuro e guidarla mentre inizia a costruire la sua fiducia. Essendo mai vissuta in una casa prima, Ravelin avrà bisogno di adottatori dolci e supportivi che possano aiutarla a imparare le basi, come l'addestramento a casa, e introdurla gradualmente alle voci e agli stimoli della vita domestica. Avrà anche bisogno di imparare tutto sulla passeggiata con guinzaglio e pettorina e dovrà esercitarsi nel giardino mentre aumenta la sua fiducia. Potrebbe vivere con adolescenti esperti di cani più grandi che comprendano l'importanza di darle lo spazio necessario per crescere. Ravelin aspetta semplicemente qualcuno che abbia fiducia in lei e le dia l'amore, la pazienza e la rassicurazione che merita. Ravelin has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was a very worried girl who was quite touch sensitive and clearly wasn't used to being handled. Since then she has started to come out of her shell and has shown that she's a very sweet girl. She can be a little shy at first and may run away initially, but once you’re in the kennel she soon comes over to say hello, greeting you with gentle hand licks and a waggy tail. She is still worried about handling, but we are working with her on this daily. She is trying her best to be brave and we feel her true personality will really blossom once she settles into a loving home. Ravelin is making good progress with those who she knows and is starting to trust, but she is still learning that other humans can be kind too and sometimes this process can take a little while. That being said Ravelin takes treats from anyone offering, the way to this girls heart is definitely through her stomach! She will be be best suited to a calm and quiet home with adopters who will let her settle in at her own pace. She finds comfort and security in her kennel friends, so she will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her feel safe and to guide her as she begins to build her confidence. She truly adores the company of other dogs and gets on will all dogs; big or small. In the yard you see her cheeky personality shine through, wriggling around, sunbathing, chasing her friends around. As she has never lived in a home before, Ravelin will need gentle, supportive adopters who can help her learn the basics, such as house training, and gradually introduce her to the sights and sounds of home life. She could live with older dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving her the space she needs to grow. Raveline doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness and will need to practice in the garden as she builds confidence. She has started learning about harness training here, but we are taking this slowly at her pace. Ravelin is simply waiting for someone to take a chance on her and provide the love, patience, and reassurance she deserves. She has come to us with an abscess on the back of her shoulder and joint stiffness in her back legs that are being monitored. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
