Meet Buccaneer! She is a fairly confident girl who is looking for a new friend to explore and forage with. Buccaneer enjoys the company of humans and will happily accept head strokes. She can be a little nervous around fast movements as most rabbits are, but food is the way to her heart. She especially enjoys kale and coriander. Buccaneer loves to spend her afternoons resting in her cardboard box and is looking for the perfect companion to snuggle with. This curious bunny also loves to have lots of enrichment including chairs and tables to help keep her back legs nice and strong. She especially loves her dig tray and will spend a lot of her time busy in the soil. Buccaneer shouldn’t take too long to settle into her new home, and she will be showing you her wonderful personality in no time! A social species, rabbits need to live with other rabbits to thrive.They feel safe and happy in pairs or groups and find comfort in companionship. Rabbits can be housed in neutered same-sex or mixed sex-pairs, or groups. Rabbits are most active at dawn and dusk, and in the wild they have plenty of space to move freely at any hour. Pet rabbits need room to hop at speed, stretch to their full height and length, and dig, forage and graze whenever they like.
