Cuca actualmente está en acogida en España para ayudar con su manejo de peso - después de muchos años viviendo en jaulas esperando un hogar para siempre, la comida se ha convertido en una fuente de confort para ella. Necesita su hogar para siempre para poder establecerse con ejercicio y estímulo regular. Cuca es una chica feliz, sociable y cariñosa con humanos y otros perros - incluso ha hecho amistad con el gato de su hogar de acogida como puedes ver en sus fotos. Es juguetona con otros perros y juguetes, y muy poco característica de los podencos - le encanta nadar en el mar. Camina bien en la correa y puede adaptarse tanto a vida urbana como rural. Le encanta estar en un hogar y se ha adaptado bien de las jaulas, un jardín no es un requisito para ella siempre que tenga espacios verdes cercanos para explorar. Viaja bien y no se preocupa por lugares nuevos. Como puedes ver en sus fotos, Cuca lleva peso adicional, aunque no tiene problemas de salud está actualmente en un programa de manejo de peso para ayudarla a perder los kilos extras y esto necesitará continuar en su hogar de acogida o para siempre. Cuca estará esterilizada, vacunada y dará negativo para todas las enfermedades mediterráneas. Tiene pasaporte y está disponible para adopción ahora. Cuca is currently living in foster in the UK to help with her weight management - after many years living in kennels waiting for a forever home, food has become a source of comfort for her. She needs her forever home so she can finally settle with regular exercise and stimulation. Cuca is a happy, sociable and affectionate girl with both humans and other dogs - she has even made friends with the cat in her foster home as you can see from her pictures. She is playful with other dogs and toys, and most out of character for podencos - loves a swim in the sea. She walks well on the lead and can manage both city and rural lifestyles. She loves being in a home and has adapted well form kenells, a garden is not a must for her as long as she has green spaces locally to explore. She travels well and is not worried by new places. As you can see form her pictures Cuca is carrying extra weight, whilst she has no health concerns she is currently on a weight management programme to help her loose the extra pounds and this would need to continue in her forever home. Cuca will be neutered, is vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
