Dakota es un perrito cruzado de beagle y tiene casi 5 meses de edad. Como puedes ver, es un poco más grande. Sin embargo, es una chica extremadamente inteligente, energética y muy entrenable y por lo tanto tiene requisitos específicos en un nuevo hogar. Llegó a nuestro cuidado en malas condiciones con unos 3 meses de edad, pero ahora está completamente recuperada y lista para su hogar definitivo. Es una perra muy inteligente y activa que necesita un hogar donde reciba el ejercicio y la estimulación adecuados. Idealmente necesita un hogar con adultos o con adolescentes interesados en el entrenamiento, y parte del acuerdo de adopción de Dakotas será que asista a clases de entrenamiento adecuadas y que su dueño esté comprometido a continuar con el entrenamiento. Necesita un hogar donde haya alguien en casa la mayor parte del tiempo y idealmente un perro más maduro para enseñarle las normas. Está bien entrenada y está haciendo bien con el entrenamiento en casa y esto deberá continuar en su nuevo hogar. Le encanta jugar al balón y es bastante segura y dispuesta a aprender nuevas cosas. Es muy motivada por la comida y muy entrenable. Dakota es muy divertida y muy dulce. Tiene requisitos específicos: un hogar con adultos o con adolescentes (o ambos) tendrá a alguien en casa la mayor parte del tiempo tendrá otro perro más maduro que deberá tener un jardín seguro en casa, de buen tamaño, en el hogar estará comprometido a continuar trabajando con el comportamiento adolescente y apoyando a la perra durante todo el proceso. La mejor ubicación para Dakota será en un área rural o suburbana con mucha vegetación y sin mucha construcción o mucha actividad. Tener medios para llevarla a zonas adecuadas para ejercicio y exploración, especialmente al principio, será importante. Dakota puede pasar cortos períodos de tiempo sola, en confinamiento, cada día y se adapta bien cuando está sola en su jaula o corral. Debe estar confinada ya que es una perra joven y seguramente se meterá en problemas. Dakota is a beagle mix pup and is almost 5 months old. As you can see she is a little stunner. However, she is an extremely intelligent, energetic and super trainable girl and so has specific requirements in a new home. She came into our care in poor condition at about 3 months old but is now fully recovered and ready for her forever home. She is a very clever and active pup and needs a home where she will get appropriate exercise and enrichment. Ideally she needs an adult home or one with teenagers and someone who is interested in training - part of Dakotas adoption agreement will be that she attend appropriate training classes and her owner will be committed to ongoing training. She needs a home where she will have someone at home most of the time and ideally a more mature dog to teach her the ropes. She is crate trained and doing well with house training and this will need to be continued in her new home. She loves to play ball and is quite confident and keen to learn new things. She is very food motived and super trainable. Dakota is a lot of fun and very sweet. She must be confined as she is a naughty young dog and will definitely get herself into mischief!
