Dakota est un chiot croisé bassets et a presque 5 mois. Comme vous pouvez le voir, elle est un peu séduisante. Cependant, c'est une jeune fille extrêmement intelligente, énergique et très facile à entraîner et a donc des besoins spécifiques dans une nouvelle maison. Elle est entrée dans notre garde dans un mauvais état à environ 3 mois mais est maintenant pleinement rétablie et prête pour sa maison définitive. Elle est un chiot très intelligent et actif et a besoin d'une maison où elle recevra un exercice et une stimulation adéquats. Idéalement, elle a besoin d'une maison composée d'adultes ou avec des adolescents et d'une personne intéressée par l'entraînement - une partie de l'accord d'adoption de Dakota sera qu'elle suive des cours d'entraînement appropriés et que son propriétaire s'engage à un entraînement continu. Elle a besoin d'une maison où quelqu'un sera présent la plupart du temps et idéalement un chien plus mûr pour lui apprendre les bases. Elle est dressée en cage et s'habitue bien à l'entraînement à la maison et cela devra être poursuivi dans sa nouvelle maison. Elle adore jouer au ballon et est assez confiante et désireuse d'apprendre de nouvelles choses. Elle est très motivée par la nourriture et très facile à entraîner. Dakota est beaucoup de plaisir et très douce. Elle a des exigences spécifiques : une maison composée d'adultes (ou avec des adolescents), où quelqu'un sera présent la plupart du temps, aura un autre chien plus mûr, aura un jardin sécurisé, suffisamment grand, à la maison, s'engagera à continuer à travailler sur le comportement adolescent et à la soutenir tout au long, s'engagera à son entraînement et à sa stimulation continues. La meilleure localisation pour Dakota sera une zone rurale ou suburbaine qui a beaucoup d'espace vert et n'est pas fortement construite ou très animée. Avoir moyen de la conduire vers des endroits adaptés pour l'exercice et l'exploration, notamment au début, sera important. Dakota est un jeune chien qui entre dans l'adolescence - ne postulez pas pour elle si vous serez indisponible pendant la journée. Cela signifie que ses nouveaux humains travaillent à temps partiel maximum et cela inclut si vous travaillez à domicile - vous travaillez toujours ! Cela est important pour les jeunes chiens en général, et particulièrement pour ce chien, afin qu'elle puisse apprendre à vivre avec des humains. Dakota peut passer de courtes périodes seule, en confinement, chaque jour et s'apaise bien lorsqu'elle est seule dans sa cage ou son enclos. Elle doit être confinée car c'est une jeune chienne turbulente et risque certainement de se mettre dans des ennuis ! Dakota is a beagle mix pup and is almost 5 months old. As you can see she is a little stunner. However, she is an extremely intelligent, energetic and super trainable girl and so has specific requirements in a new home. She came into our care in poor condition at about 3 months old but is now fully recovered and ready for her forever home. She is a very clever and active pup and needs a home where she will get appropriate exercise and enrichment. Ideally she needs an adult home or one with teenagers and someone who is interested in training - part of Dakotas adoption agreement will be that she attend appropriate training classes and her owner will be committed to ongoing training. She needs a home where she will have someone at home most of the time and ideally a more mature dog to teach her the ropes. She is crate trained and doing well with house training and this will need to be continued in her new home. She loves to play ball and is quite confident and keen to learn new things. She is very food motived and super trainable. Dakota is a lot of fun and very sweet. She has specific requirements will be an adult home (or with teenagers) will have someone home most of the time will have another more mature dog must have a secure garden, of a good size, at the house will be committed to continuing to work with adolescent behaviour, and supporting her throughout will be committed to her ongoing training and enrichment The best location for Dakota will be in a rural or suburban area that has plenty of green space and is not heavily built up or very busy. Dakota is a young dog just entering adolescence - do not apply for her if you are going to be unavailable to her during the day. That means her new humans must be working at a maximum part time and that includes if working from home - you’re still working! This is important for young dogs generally, and this dog specifically, so that she can learn to be around life with humans. Dakota can spend short amounts of time alone, in confinement, each day and settles well while alone in her pen or crate. She must be confined as she is a naughty young dog and will definitely get herself into mischief!
