21-05-26 Grape ha llegado a nuestro cuidado desde un criador en busca de una nueva oportunidad. Es una chica asustada que está bastante abrumada al encontrarse aquí en este momento y claramente no está acostumbrada a mucho contacto humano, por lo que esto le resulta bastante preocupante en estos momentos. A pesar de sus miedos, permitirá que la acaricien suavemente y está tratando muy duro de ser valiente. Buscará una casa tranquila y silenciosa donde pueda adaptarse a su propio ritmo y beneficiarse de adoptantes con experiencia en perros ex criadores. Se lleva maravillosamente con sus amigos de la jaula y depende de su compañía para sentirse cómoda, por lo tanto necesitará un perro residente amable en su nueva casa para ayudarla a guiarla y darle la seguridad que necesita mientras se adapta y encuentra su camino. Como Grape nunca ha vivido en una casa antes, necesitará aprender todo sobre el entrenamiento para hacer sus necesidades, el uso de la correa y otras bases de la vida en casa. Todo será nuevo para ella, por lo tanto una rutina tranquila y constante será importante. Grape ha llegado un poco sobrepeso, pero con una buena dieta y ejercicio suave, debería comenzar a perder el exceso de peso. Tiene alopecia hormonal, pero esto debería volver a crecer una vez que haya sido esterilizada. Grape es una pequeña chica muy preocupada en este momento, pero con tiempo, paciencia y el apoyo de otro perro, tiene el potencial de ganar confianza lentamente y comenzar a mostrar más de su verdadera personalidad. 21-05-26 Grape has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a scared girl who is quite overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment and clearly isn't used to much human interaction, so finds this quite worrying at the moment. Despite her fears she will let you gently stroke her and is trying so hard to be brave. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace and would benefit from adopters with experience of ex-breeding dogs. She gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. As Grape has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Everything will be new to her, so a calm and consistent routine will be important. Grape has arrived a little overweight, but with a good diet and gentle exercise, she should soon start to shed the excess. She has some hormonal alopecia, but this should start to grow back now she has been spayed. She has had 2 teeth extracted as well as a hernia repair and our vets have noted she has a small cyst, which was removed at the time of her spay. Grape is a very worried little girl at the moment, but with time, patience, and the support of another dog, she has the potential to slowly gain confidence and begin to show more of her true character. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
