I was brought to the shelter with my partner Heng. While he has made some small progress, I have not moved forward at all. Everything here is still very foreign and intimidating to me. I still do not trust people. If someone gets too close to me, I react clearly: I snarl, spit, and use my claws to create distance. I prefer to keep my distance and observe everything from a safe hiding spot where I feel most comfortable. But I am not completely lost—now I eagerly accept treats. Perhaps this shows that somewhere deep inside me, a tiny bit of curiosity still exists.

"Ich wurde gemeinsam mit meinem Partner Heng ins Tierheim gebracht. Während er inzwischen kleine Fortschritte macht, bin ich selbst noch nicht wirklich weitergekommen. Alles hier ist für mich nach wie vor sehr fremd und beängstigend. Menschen vertraue ich weiterhin nicht. Wenn mir jemand zu nahe kommt, reagiere ich deutlich : Ich fauche, spucke und setze auch meine Krallen ein, um Abstand zu schaffen. Ich halte lieber Distanz und beobachte alles aus sicherer Deckung, wo ich mich am wohlsten fühle. Ganz verloren bin ich aber nicht – Leckerli nehme ich inzwischen sehr gerne an. Das zeigt vielleicht, dass irgendwo tief in mir doch ein kleines bisschen Neugier steckt."
