¡Hola a todos! Me llamo Maple 🍁 Tengo 11 años y soy una pug pequeña buscando un hogar acogedor para retirarme, donde pueda pasar mis años dorados rodeada de amor, abrazos y mucha atención. Aunque soy una viejita, todavía tengo mucho amor que dar. De hecho, soy un poco un bicho de abrazos. Lo que más me gusta en el mundo es estar cerca de mis personas, recibiendo todo el afecto y la atención que pueda obtener. Soy un poco sorda, así que experimento el mundo de manera un poco diferente, pero eso ciertamente no me impide disfrutar la vida. Soy muy buena siguiendo rutinas, observando a mis humanos y encontrando el lugar más cómodo de la casa para una siesta. Podría vivir felizmente con niños de 5 años en adelante que entiendan que soy una dama mayor. También puedo vivir con otro perro amigable y posiblemente podría compartir mi hogar con gatos o pequeños animales peludos, dependiendo de una introducción exitosa. Estoy contenta siendo dejada por períodos cortos de hasta 2 horas, pero preferiría pasar mi tiempo acurrucada a tu lado si es posible. Si estás buscando un pequeño compañero tierno con un gran corazón y mucho amor para dar, podría ser tu pareja perfecta.

A 2-year-old Lurcher looking for my forever home. 💕 I’m a sensitive girl, so I can feel a little worried when meeting new people, but once I’ve got to know you and decided you’re my friend, I’m a loving and affectionate girl who would happily curl up beside you on the sofa for a snooze. I absolutely love my exercise and there’s nothing better than having a good zoom around, so I’ll need a secure garden of my own where I can safely stretch my legs. I’m also a big fan of toys and love playing with my humans, although I’m perfectly capable of entertaining myself too! One of my favourite games is throwing my toys up in the air and trying to catch them. 🎾 Because I can be anxious around new people, I’m looking for a quiet, calm home with minimal visitors, and ideally someone who is home for most of the day. I’d like any children in the home to be aged 14 or over and able to understand that I sometimes need a little time and space to feel comfortable. I could potentially live with another dog of a similar size, if we get on at the North Lincolnshire centre first. However, I cannot live with cats or small furries as I have a high prey drive. I’m looking for someone who will be patient with me, help me build my confidence and be willing to continue with my training so I can keep learning and growing into the happiest version of myself.
