Jet busca un hogar con adoptantes activos que puedan llevarlo a aventuras de olfateo en áreas tranquilas para caminar, o a correr en un campo privado, una familia que lo mantenga entrenado. Le gustaría un hogar tranquilo y predecible con solo adultos que jueguen con él amablemente y le den espacio para descansar cuando lo necesite. Jet se siente preocupado estar cerca de otros perros, por lo tanto quiere ser el único animal en el hogar para recibir toda la atención y sin perros vecinos, preferiría paseos en zonas más tranquilas para que pueda explorar a su ritmo. Jet tiene cierta formación, sabe su nombre y hace un bonito "sentado", actualmente está trabajando en su entrenamiento con bozal ya que irá a casa con correa y bozal. Es un chico inteligente, pero se distrae fácilmente por lo que podría participar en sesiones de entrenamiento cortas y dulces con la ayuda de un delicioso premio y muchas felicitaciones para motivarlo. Busca un hogar con un jardín privado y seguro con vallas de 6 pies para que pueda pasear sin correa. Jet puede adaptarse bien en el hogar, por lo tanto puede quedarse solo hasta 4 horas, esto debe construirse lentamente una vez que haya tenido tiempo de adaptarse. Jet necesitará conocer a sus adoptadores varias veces antes de irse a casa, con posibilidad de visitas a domicilio con nuestro equipo de comportamiento para asegurarnos de que se adapta bien, por favor tómenlo en cuenta al aplicar. Correrá y saltará tras los juguetes que se le lancen y los traerá de vuelta para que se los vuelvan a lanzar, le gusta llevar un juguete consigo para confort. Cuando esté adaptado y haya formado un vínculo contigo, le gusta que lo lloren, le encantan las caricias en las nalgas y hace un pequeño movimiento si encuentra el lugar correcto. Disfruta de buenas aventuras al aire libre, especialmente en los bosques donde es más tranquilo y puede olfatear y explorar a su ritmo. Este bonito chico está listo para encontrar su nuevo hogar.

Jet is looking for a home with active adopters who can take him for sniffy adventures in quiet walking areas, or for a run around in a private field, a family to keep up his training. He would like a calm and predictable home with only adults who will play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when he needs. Jet finds being in close proximity to dogs worrying, so would like to be the only pet in the home so he can have all of the attention to himself and no neighbouring dogs, he would prefer walks in quieter areas so he can explore at his leisure. Jet has some training under his belt, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit”, he is currently working on his muzzle training as he will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer. He is a clever boy, but gets distracted easily so could engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat and lots of praise for encouragement. He is looking for a home with a private, secure garden with 6ft fencing for him to potter about and have off lead time in. Jet can settle nicely in the home so could be left for up to 4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Jet will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home with the potential for home visits with our behaviour team to make sure he is settling in well, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Playful boy Jet is a 2 and a half year old Collie/Labrador cross who loves his toys. He will chase and bound around after toys that are thrown for him and will bring them back to be thrown again, he likes to carry a toy around with him for comfort. When he is settled and has built a bond with you he likes a fuss, bum scratches are his favourite and he does a little wiggle if you get the right spot. He enjoys a good outdoor adventure, especially in the woods where it is quieter and he can sniff and explore at his leisure. This beautiful boy is ready to find his new home.
