Joey se considera a sí mismo un perezoso de medio tiempo. Aunque le encanta dormir en el sofá con su persona (ocupando más espacio de lo que te imaginas), también disfruta de una buena caminata y se emociona mucho al ver su arnés. Durante sus paseos, camina muy bien con la correa, y acelera al máximo cuando sus patas tocan el césped en el parque local, haciendo una pequeña carrera rápida y luego pasando la mayor parte del tiempo allí con un trote lento. A Joey le falta perder peso, por lo que su entusiasmo por caminar lo ayudará, pero sus nuevos dueños deberán tener cuidado con su alimentación. Tendrás que tener fuerza de voluntad de acero aunque él te mire directamente al alma con ojos sin parpadear mientras estás comiendo tus comidas. Si alguna vez te has preguntado cómo es tener un habichuela turbo, entonces definitivamente deberías conocer más a Joey. Este pequeño está buscando un hogar donde pueda disfrutar de las cosas tranquilas de la vida. Puede compartir su hogar con niños de secundaria, pero quiere ser el único perro en el hogar. Puede pasar a otros perros con calma durante los paseos, y podría tener un amigo para pasear, pero no le gusta jugar con otros perros. Como es un chico más viejo, a Joey le hace falta una rampa para bajar dos escalones en su jardín de acogida, y necesita escaleras de sofá u otras similares para acceder al sofá libremente. Joey está entrenado para ir al baño, y es un placer tenerlo alrededor.

Joey considers himself to be a part-time couch potato. Whilst he does love napping on the sofa with his person (taking up more room than you would think possible), he also enjoys a good stroll, and gets super excited to see his harness. When on his walks, he walks very nicely on the lead - and kicks it into fifth gear when his feet touch the grass at the local park, having a little zoom and then spending most of his time there in a slow jog! Joey does need to lose some weight, so him being an enthusiastic walker will help with this, but his new owners will need to be mindful of this when feeding him. You will need willpower of steel though as he stares straight into your soul with unblinking eyes when you are eating your meals! If you have ever wondered what owning a turbo-powered kidney bean is like, then you should definitely learn more about Joey! This little guy is looking for a home where he can enjoy the quieter things in life. He's able to share his home with secondary school aged children, but would like to be the only dog in the home. He can pass dogs calmly out on walks, and could have a doggy walking friend or two, but he isn't keen on playing with other dogs. Being an older boy, Joey does need a ramp to get down two steps in his foster garden, and needs sofa stairs or similar to access the sofa freely. Joey is housetrained, and is a delight to have around.
