Joey es un hermoso gato de pelo largo, mezcla de persa, encontrado en el área de Plaza Antonio Banderas de Puerto Banús; no tiene microchip y no está castrado. Es un gato muy tímido. Su primera reacción al acercarse alguien suele ser esconderse o ir a algún lugar donde se sienta seguro. Cuando todo está tranquilo, sale lentamente de su escondite y se instala en su pequeña cama, observando todo desde allí. Se lleva bien con otros gatos y vive junto a ellos sin ningún problema, lo que demuestra que se siente seguro en compañía de otros gatos. Aunque aún es muy temeroso, hay pequeños avances que nos hacen sonreír: si tienes golosinas, Joey se acerca y las toma directamente de tu mano... incluso si luego corre rápidamente de vuelta a refugiarse. Joey necesita una familia con experiencia con gatos tímidos o no socializados, que entiendan su proceso y estén dispuestos a darle tiempo, paciencia y un entorno tranquilo donde pueda aprender a confiar. Joey is a beautiful long-haired cat, a Persian mix, found in the Plaza Antonio Banderas area of Puerto Banús; he has no microchip and has not been neutered. He is a very timid cat. His first reaction when someone approaches is usually to hide or go somewhere else where he feels safe. When everything is quiet, he slowly emerges from his hiding place and settles into his little bed, observing everything from there. He gets on well with other cats and lives alongside them without any problems, which shows that he feels safe in the company of other cats. Although he is still very fearful, there are small steps forward that make us smile: if you have treats, Joey will come over and take them straight from your hand… even if he then quickly runs back to take refuge. Joey needs a family with experience of shy or unsocialised cats, who understand his process and are willing to give him time, patience and a calm environment where he can learn to trust.
