Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs ongoing support Link will need ongoing training and support around strangers in his new home, which we will help guide you through. Can I be left alone? Yes In Link’s previous home, he would be comfortable being home alone for a full working day. Link shows great potential to be able to be left alone for this length of time again, with the right support and guidance in his new home. Do I have any medical conditions? History of Link had a historic medical incident, he ingested a foreign body requiring surgical removal, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? Yes, conditionally - Securely housed small pets that he won't have access too Additional information Link is generally indifferent around other dogs and will happily walk past them, but if another dog barks at Link, he will bark back. Link doesn’t get much from other dogs, much preferring to engage in some training with his people when he’s out on walks. He would prefer walking in quieter area’s where off lead dogs won’t constantly be running over to him. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Link is looking for an adult only home with no young visiting children due to his worries around strangers. He will need all family members to be involved with his training and advocate for him when out on walks. Link enjoys affection from his favourite people, often enjoying a snuggle on the sofa. Other times he can be independent and prefers his own space and company. He loves nothing more however than learning new tricks and training with his favourite people! What type of environment would suit me? Link will need access to his own private and secure garden, with 6ft fencing, to play, explore and relax in. About Link Link is a typical Labrador in the sense that he adores his walks, or he’s often found taking a dip in a lake, rolling around on his back or showing off his repertoire of tricks! Underneath, Link is a worried boy and is looking for an understanding and patient home who can continue his training around strangers. Link forms strong bonds and will be the most amazing companion; he’d be great as a jogging partner or exercise buddy. Link would love an quiet home with plenty of access to quiet spaces to explore. He is a super smart boy who is always up for learning new tricks and having fun!
