En junio de 2011 encontramos un perro en el centro de la ciudad. Tenía una etiqueta en la oreja y una herida reciente en su vientre con los puntos aún puestos indicando que había sido esterilizada recientemente. La herida estaba infectada así que la llevamos de vuelta al refugio y le dimos antibióticos. Llegó noviembre y el perro que llamamos Nina nos sorprendió a todos al dar a luz a 6 crías! Lonnie fue una de esas crías. Es una niña muy linda y a pesar de mostrar signos de su edad ella sigue siendo feliz y saludable aquí con nosotros.

In June 2011 we found a dog in the town centre. She had been ear tagged and had a fresh would on her belly with the stitches still in indicating that she had recently been sterilised. The wound was infected so we took her back to the shelter and got her started on antibiotics. November came round and the dog who we named Nina shocked us all by giving birth to 6 pups! Lonnie was one of those pups. She is such a lovely little girl and despite starting to show signs of her age she is still happy and healthy here with us.
