En juin 2011, nous avons trouvé un chien au centre-ville. Elle avait été marquée aux oreilles et avait une plaie fraîche sur le ventre avec les points de suture encore en place indiquant qu'elle avait été stérilisée récemment. La plaie était infectée donc nous l'avons ramenée au refuge et lui avons commencé un traitement antibiotique. Novembre est venu et le chien que nous avons nommé Nina nous a tous surpris en donnant naissance à 6 chiots ! Lonnie était l'un de ces chiots. Elle est une petite fille adorable et malgré le fait qu'elle commence à montrer les signes de son âge, elle est toujours contente et en bonne santé ici avec nous.

In June 2011 we found a dog in the town centre. She had been ear tagged and had a fresh would on her belly with the stitches still in indicating that she had recently been sterilised. The wound was infected so we took her back to the shelter and got her started on antibiotics. November came round and the dog who we named Nina shocked us all by giving birth to 6 pups! Lonnie was one of those pups. She is such a lovely little girl and despite starting to show signs of her age she is still happy and healthy here with us.
