Marley llegó a nosotros después de que lo encontraran como un animal perdido, ¡pero no era un animal perdido! Su historia es bastante larga, pero importante. Marley tenía una familia, desde que era joven, pero hace unos años, ellos tuvieron un cachorro. Marley, totalmente descontento con esto, decidió irse alrededor del vecindario (y recibió comida por el camino) y a veces volvía a ver si el perro aún estaba en casa. Un día se fue, pero demasiado lejos y fue encontrado por una mujer que pensó que era un animal perdido. Claramente no contento de quedarse en una casa con un perro, y queriendo su libertad, su dueño decidió que sería lo mejor encontrarle a Marley un hogar permanente sin otros animales domésticos. Actualmente, Marley está con un familiar de acogida y es muy cariñoso y amoroso. Duermo al final de la cama por la noche y se queda con sus cuidadores cuando están en casa. Le encanta su comida, pero no tanto las visitas al veterinario. Marley es definitivamente un gato que ama el exterior y podría incluso ser un andariego constante. Necesitará un hogar sin otros animales, solo adultos, y su nueva familia deberá mantenerlo en interiores durante un tiempo más largo de lo normal y probablemente esperar que esté fuera durante horas más largas en general. Marley came to us after he was found as a stray, but wasn't a stray! His story is rather longwinded, but important. Marley had a family, since being young, but a few years ago, they got a puppy. Marley, not impressed by this at all, decided he would take himself off around the neighbourhood (getting fed along the way) and would pop back occasionally to see if the dog was still at home. One day he wandered off, but a little too far and was found by a lady who thought he was a stray. Clearly not happy to stay in a home with a dog, and wanting his freedom, his owner decided it would be best to find Marley a permanent home with no other pets. Currently Marley is with fosterers and is very affectionate and loving. He sleeps on the end of the bed at night and will hang around with his fosterers when they are home. He enjoys his food! But not so much vet visits! Marley is definitely a cat who loves the outdoors, and could even be a consistent wanderer! He will need a pet free home, adults only, and his new family will need to keep him indoors for a little longer than usual too and probably expect him to be out longer hours in general.
