Este es el señor Monty; un encantador galgo de 6 años que acaba de unirse a la familia. Monty se retiró de la carrera por edad, ha corrido un asombroso total de 200 carreras antes de su retiro. Está un poco desgastado y con moretones de sus días de carrera, pero su personalidad ciertamente no lo está. Monty es un perro muy cariñoso, divertido y feliz. Le encantan las personas, interactúa brillantemente con otros galgos y también tiene su propia novia y compañero de jaula. Comparte su espacio absolutamente bien, y realmente disfruta correr por nuestro campo con ella. Cierto que puede vivir con otro galgo. Monty no ha estado aquí lo suficiente como para que podamos ver cómo se lleva con otras razas, pero si ya tienes un perro no de caza en casa y te gusta Monty, hacemos algunas visitas en la perrera de todos modos para asegurarnos realmente de que tu perro y Monty se lleven bien antes del día de la adopción. Monty sería un excelente animal de compañía para una familia con niños que sean sensatos y con conocimiento sobre perros. Monty es ahora un poco más mayor y solo ha conocido el trabajo, así que ahora que se ha retirado, solo querrá un hogar encantador donde relajarse y tomar el sol. Los niños deberán entender cuando Monty quiera estar solo para descansar. Es un chico muy seguro de sí mismo y a veces busca atención, así que creemos que Monty amaría unirse a su familia al pub, cafeterías, etc. Le encantaría ir a lugares donde pueda ser el centro de atención y recibir todo el cariño y atención que pueda obtener de la gente. Nos encanta Monty aquí y disfrutamos viendo cómo su pequeña personalidad comienza a brillar cada día más. This is Mr Monty; a lovely 6 year old greyhound who just joined the family! Monty retired from racing due to age – running a staggering 200 races before retirement. He’s a little bit battered and bruised from his racing days, but his personality certainly isn’t. Monty is a super loving, fun and happy hound. He loves people, interacts brilliantly with other hounds and also has his very own girlfriend and kennel mate. He shares his space absolutely amazingly, and really enjoys running around our field with her. He can certainly live with another hound. Monty hasn’t been here long enough for us to be able to see how he gets on with other breeds, but if you have a non sighthound in the home already and like the look of Monty, we do a few visits here at the kennel anyway so we can really make sure your dog and Monty get on well before adoption day. Monty would make a lovely family pet with children who are sensible and dog savvy. Monty is a slightly older dude now who has known nothing but work, so now he’s retired he’s just going to want a lovely home to lounge around in and put his feet up. Children will need to understand when Monty wants to be left alone to rest. He’s a very confident boy and a bit of an attention seeker at times so we feel like Monty would love to join his family to the pub, coffee shops etc. He’d love to go places where he can be the star of the show and lap up all the affection and attention from people he can get. We love Monty here, and really enjoy seeing his little personality start to shine through more and more every day.
