Oliver busca un hogar tranquilo y predecible con pocos visitantes, especialmente al principio, le gustaría adoptantes activos que puedan llevarlo a aventuras de olfateo y proporcionarle diversión y enriquecimiento mental para mantener su mente ocupada. Busca un hogar solo para adultos, se preferiría a adoptantes con conocimiento de la raza. Oliver puede sentirse un poco frustrado alrededor de otros perros, por lo tanto busca ser el único animal de compañía en el hogar sin mascotas visitantes, así podrá disfrutar de toda la atención de su adoptante, podría tener compañeros de paseo calmados y amigables para ayudarlo a socializar. Oliver es un chico muy inteligente y en el entorno adecuado puede participar en entrenamiento, actualmente está haciendo entrenamiento con arnés y colchoneta. Le gusta pasear y explorar a su ritmo, por lo tanto se necesita acceso a un jardín privado y seguro. Oliver puede adaptarse al hogar, por lo tanto podría quedarse solo hasta 4 horas, es todavía joven, por lo tanto esto debe construirse lentamente una vez que haya tenido tiempo de adaptarse. Oliver necesitará conocer a sus adoptantes varias veces con la posibilidad de visitas a su hogar antes de irse a casa, por favor tenga esto en cuenta al aplicar. Oliver is looking for a calm and predictable home with minimal visitors, especially to begin with, he would like active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures and provide him with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his brain busy. He is looking for a predictable adult only home, adopters with knowledge of the breed would be preferred. Oliver can be a little frustrated around other dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home with no visiting pets, so he can enjoy all of his adopter’s attention to himself, he could have calm and friendly walking buddies to help him socialise. Oliver is a super clever boy and in the right environment he can engage in training, he is currently doing harness and mat training. He likes to potter and explore at his leisure so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Oliver would like someone home the majority of the time, especially to begin with so he has time to settle and feel safe in his new home, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Oliver will need to meet his adopters multiple times with the potential for home visits prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Sweet and affectionate boy Oliver is a 1 year old Shepherd cross with a heart of gold. He has a lot of love to give once he knows you and has built a bond with you, he will lean into you for fusses, when settled he becomes cuddly and affectionate. This guy likes gentle strolls in the woods, exploring and sniffing everything. He likes to play, a game of tuggy with his raggy toys is his favourite, he will play with teddies but does tend to de-fluff them after a while. This lovely lad is ready to find his new home.
