Reggie está buscando un hogar amoroso con adoptantes que tengan experiencia con perros grandes y juguetones, y que estén dispuestos a dedicarle tiempo, amor y esfuerzo para continuar su entrenamiento y mantenerlo mental y físicamente estimulado. Deberá vivir con niños de secundaria mayor, y necesitará ser el único animal en el hogar con dueños comprensivos que puedan trabajar en su desensibilización frente a otros perros. A Reggie le encantan sus juguetes y podrá pasar horas con su pelota de tenis favorita y acostarse en el suelo con ella. A Reggie le necesitará conocer a sus adoptadores varias veces antes de irse a casa, así que tenga esto en cuenta al solicitar. Tenga en cuenta que si es seleccionado, nuestro proceso de reubicación suele tomar hasta 7 días, y los posibles adoptantes deberán venir al centro para conocerlo dentro de las 48 horas de ser seleccionados. Reggie is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures and provide him with physically and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his busy brain occupied and given him all of the love he deserves. He could live with older secondary school children who are comfortable by a playful and clumsy dog, children who will play with him nicely and will leave him to rest when needed. Reggie likes all of the attention to himself so would prefer to be the only pet in the home, in future he would benefit from some calm and confident walking buddies who will help him to build confidence around socialising with other dogs. He can be easily distracted when learning new skills but will do just about anything for a tasty treat, he’s a clever boy who already knows how to “sit”, “paw”, “crate”, “mat” and is muzzle trained as he will need to be on a lead and muzzle at all times in public. Reggie would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to potter about and have some off lead time at his leisure. He could settle in the home alone with the help of some enrichment to keep him busy and after a walk to tucker him out, so could be left for up to 2 hours, any leaving time will need to be built up gradually once he has had time to settle in. Reggie will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Reggie is the ultimate dream for all the big dog lovers out there! He’s still a bouncy puppy who just spent his 1st birthday with us and is the perfect mix of Rottweiler and Labrador (adorable, right?). He loves his toys, he will play with a teddy, but a ball is his favourite, he will chase and bound around after them, and then start throwing them around for himself, after he’s done, he will quite happily take himself off with his ball and sploot on the floor. Under his silly, goofy personality, Reggie has a sweet and snuggly side, he adores being a lap dog and having all the cuddles. Could you be the perfect home for this young boy?
