Ollie busca una casa tranquila con jardín. Ollie necesita un hogar donde pueda tener compañía la mayor parte del tiempo, ya que se siente muy ansioso cuando queda solo. Ollie prefiere la compañía de mujeres. Le encantaría dar caminatas agradables y recibir mucha atención. Puede ladrar a personas desconocidas fuera. Ollie is looking for a quiet home with a garden. Ollie needs a home where he can have company most of the time as he gets very anxious when he is left alone. Ollie prefers female company. He would love to go for lovely walks and get lots of attention. As Ollie is an older dog, he is covered by our Old Dog Scheme for any future vet bills he may need.* Ollie is excited when people come to the home, but will settle quickly. He may bark at unfamiliar people outside. Ollie will shy away from unfamiliar children that come up to him and has never lived with children so we advise any kids in his new home are visiting only. On walks, Ollie is either friendly or shy with other dogs, depending on the situation. He will chase cats. Ollie wears a harness and does not tend to pull on the lead. His recall depends on his mood! Ollie has some separation anxiety and likes staying close to his owner around the house. If left alone for too long, he will get very anxious and chew the fur on his side. We hope this behaviour does not continue in his new home, but if Ollie needs any vet treatment related to this, Dog Aid Scotland will cover the costs. He is nervous travelling in the car and he is also scared of the noise of the kitchen extractor hood. Ollie has behaved well when going to the vets in the past. He is fine with being washed but does not like being brushed. He has been to the groomers and tends to love the bath but can be nervous about the rest. Ollie is happiest when he is with his owner and he loves food! He is gentle, friendly and very affectionate. *OLD DOG SCHEME: Dog Aid Scotland’s Old Dog Scheme covers dogs rehomed at 8 years old or above. This means that we will cover costs for veterinary care for the dog for the remainder of their life within reason. We do not cover costs for routine treatments such as vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. If the dog requires special dietary food we will contribute 50% of the cost. This will alleviate the worry of the financial implications taking an older dog into your home. Older dogs make great pets!
