En este momento, solo podemos adivinar cómo lucirá una vez que su apariencia esté completamente restaurada, porque su salud ahora es perfecta. Lo único que podemos garantizar es que Petros se convertirá en un perro realmente impresionante. Un verdadero espectáculo de adulto. Petros llegó a nuestro refugio en Oropos en muy mal estado. Un joven, bondadoso, potencial gigante con un corazón de oro, que había estado desvaneciéndose atado en el horrible refugio municipal de Krestena. Le dimos de comer, lo cuidamos y sus ojos volvieron a brillar. Pronto, su pelaje brillará, su cola se llenará y sus patas ya no parecerán desproporcionadas con el resto de su cuerpo. Petros no es un perro difícil. Por el contrario, es cooperativo, alegre y de buen carácter. En paseos, comienza lleno de entusiasmo y poco a poco se calma, quedándose a tu lado. Si te detienes a saludar y charlar un poco con alguien que encuentres en el camino, Petros esperará pacientemente. Incluso podría tumbarse un rato, solo para evitar gastar energía innecesaria. Petros es un gran personaje. Una vez que su pelaje marrón chocolate y blanco con manchas negras esté totalmente presente y su melena se alargue, quizás ni siquiera lo reconozcamos. Quizás solo la dulzura en sus ojos nos lo revelará. Quien adopte a Petros podrá estar seguro de que muchas cabezas se volverán para admirarlo mientras caminan juntos.

We’re all eagerly waiting for Petros’ new coat to grow. At this point, we can only guess what he’ll look like once his appearance is fully restored, because his health is now perfectly fine. The only thing we can guarantee is that Petros will turn into a truly impressive dog. A proper, full-grown stunner. Petros arrived at our shelter in Oropos in a very rough state. A young, kind-hearted, would-be giant with a heart of gold, who had been wasting away tied up in the dreadful municipal kennel of Krestena. We fed him, cared for him, and his eyes lit up again. Soon enough, his coat will shine too, his tail will fill out, and his paws will stop looking out of proportion with the rest of his body. Petros is not a difficult dog. On the contrary, he’s cooperative, cheerful, and good-natured. On walks, he starts off full of excitement and gradually settles, coming right by your side. If you stop to say hello and chat a bit with someone you meet along the way, Petros will patiently wait. He might even lie down for a bit, just to avoid wasting unnecessary energy. Petros is a great character. Once his chocolate brown and white coat with black spots fully comes through, and his mane grows longer, we might not even recognize him. Maybe only the sweetness in his eyes will give him away. Whoever adopts Petros can be sure that plenty of heads will turn to admire him as they walk together.
