Pina (lilac) y Colada (chocolate) son dos jóvenes perras Bulldog de aproximadamente 1-2 años, que fueron descartadas descuidadamente en el centro. Lamentablemente, no han tenido el mejor comienzo en la vida, conociendo solo el abandono, pero a pesar de todo, tienen las naturalezas más compasivas y tiernas y ahora están listas para encontrar su hogar perfecto para siempre. Cuando llegaron, ambas perras mostraron claros signos de abandono. Pina estaba muy gordas, con pliegues de piel irritados, una infección de piel y garras demasiado largas. Colada también estaba muy gordas, con garras demasiado largas y pliegues de piel irritados. Ambas perras han recibido cuidados veterinarios necesarios, junto con un día de spa y mucha atención especial, y ya están empezando a sentirse mucho más cómodas. A Pina le ha dado el ojo de cereza y se le realizará una operación correctiva. También le han dado gotas oculares antibióticas, junto con un curso de antibióticos para su infección de piel. Ha sido sometida a una cirugía que ayudará a mejorar su respiración y la calidad general de vida. A Colada le nació un labio leporino y estamos esperando la opinión de los veterinarios sobre qué cirugía le será necesaria. La buena noticia es que parece no afectarla en su vida cotidiana, y continúa comiendo y disfrutando la vida bien, pero con cirugía sería beneficiosa. Ambas perras están haciendo muy bien en su camino de recuperación y están comenzando lentamente a descubrir el mundo que las rodea. Todo es nuevo, y aunque pueden estar asustadas afuera, están ganando confianza día a día. Pina y Colada buscan un hogar tranquilo y comprensivo con personas pacientes que tengan tiempo para ayudarlas a adaptarse y crecer. Realmente beneficiarían en asistir a clases de adiestramiento para ayudar a construir su confianza y guiarlas mientras aprenden a navegar la vida. Debido a su raza, es esencial conocer los perros braquicefálicos, y sus nuevos dueños tendrán que mantenerse al tanto de su salud continua y mantenimiento general. Las chicas están comenzando a disfrutar salir y explorar, aprendiendo cada día más sobre cómo funciona el mundo. Conocer a nuevas personas les está haciendo mucha bien, y están floreciendo lentamente como mariposas sociales. Nos encantaría que Pina y Colada fueran rehijadas juntas, ya que están muy unidas y encuentran gran consuelo mutuo. Posiblemente puedan vivir con otros perros esterilizados y gatos inteligentes en perros. También podrían vivir con niños respetuosos y tranquilos, según las presentaciones realizadas en el centro. De una vida de abandono... a un futuro lleno de amor, paciencia y bondad es lo que necesitan.

(PLEASE NOTE : PINA HAS BEEN REHOMED) Pina (lilac) and colada (chocolate) are two young Bulldog girls approximately 1-2 years old, who were carelessly dumped at the centre. Sadly, they have not had the best start in life, knowing only neglect—but despite everything, they have the most forgiving, gentle natures and are now ready to find their perfect forever home. When they arrived, both girls showed clear signs of neglect. Pina was severely overweight, with sore skin folds, a skin infection, and overgrown claws. Colada was also overweight, with overgrown claws and sore skin folds. Both girls have since received much-needed veterinary care, along with a spa day and plenty of TLC, and are already starting to feel much more comfortable. Pina has had cherry eye and will be treated with a corrective operation. She has also been treated with antibiotic eye drops, along with a course of antibiotics for her skin infection. She has undergone surgery which will help improve her breathing and overall quality of life. Colada was born with a hare lip and we are awaiting vets advice on what surgery she will require. The good news is that it doesn’t seem to affect her day-to-day, and she continues to eat and enjoy life well, but with surgery will be beneficial. Both girls are doing really well on their road to recovery and are slowly beginning to discover the world around them. Everything is new, and while they can be worried outdoors, they are gaining confidence day by day. Pina and Colada are looking for a calm, understanding home with patient humans who have the time to help them adjust and grow. They would really benefit from attending training classes to help build their confidence and guide them as they learn how to navigate life. Due to their breed, knowledge of brachycephalic dogs is essential, and their new owners will need to stay on top of their ongoing health and general maintenance. The girls are starting to enjoy getting out and exploring, learning more each day about how the world works. Meeting new people is doing them the world of good, and they are slowly blossoming into little social butterflies. We would love for Pina and Colada to be rehomed together, as they are very bonded and find great comfort in one another. They could potentially live with other neutered dogs and dog-savvy cats. They may also be able to live with respectful, calm children, based on introductions carried out at the centre. From a life of neglect… to a future filled with love, patience, and kindness is what they need. We would love the girls to stay together but would consider separating if needed.
