Elegante Poseidón no es solo un bonito chico, también es un académico. Aparentemente, este buen chico está muy interesado en la historia de Lemnos y estaba pasando el tiempo en las ruinas arqueológicas de Kaveiria. Afortunadamente, una persona amante de los animales trabaja allí y nos alertó sobre su situación, y sin duda no estaba identificado y nadie respondió a nuestras publicaciones sobre su descubrimiento. Tal vez fue abandonado, tal vez no querido, pero NOSOTROS queremos que él y ahora está seguro en el refugio. Nuestro veterinario estima que Poseidón tiene 3 años y ahora pesa 26 kilos. Pero está un poco delgado y creemos que debería pesar al menos 30 kilos. Debido a que estaba un poco bajo de peso, pasó su revisión médica con buenos resultados y también está esterilizado ahora. Así que todo lo que necesita es un hogar amoroso. Poseidón tiene un carácter asombroso y amigable, ama estar con la gente. Es excelente con las perras del refugio y podría ciertamente vivir con una hembra. No le gusta mucho a otros machos y necesitaría algún entrenamiento para conocer a otros machos cuando esté fuera. En cuanto a gatos, deben morir. No hay manera de que pueda compartir su hogar con un gato, en sus ojos son snacks con patas. Poseidón es un perro muy, muy activo que necesita una familia que tenga experiencia con razas grandes y inteligentes como él (preferiblemente experiencia con tipos de pastor alemán) y sepa cómo estimularlo mental y físicamente. Es un chico muy amable, no es agresivo en absoluto, pero debido a su tamaño y fuerza, creemos que no debe vivir con niños pequeños. Con casi todos nuestros perros, no tenemos idea de lo que ocurrió en la vida de Poseidón antes de que se interesara por la arqueología. Esto significa que su futura familia debe esperar comenzar con todo el entrenamiento desde cero como se haría con un cachorro pequeño: entrenamiento para ir al baño, caminar con correa, entrenamiento para estar solo en casa, ¡él lo necesitará todo! Pero estamos seguros de que es un chico maravilloso que florecerá en el corazón de la familia adecuada. Soy un chico dulce y guapo que simplemente sabe que mi familia para siempre está ahí afuera, lista para mí. Me encanta pasar el tiempo con la gente. Soy muy bueno con las perras y me gustaría vivir con una, pero aún no estoy muy seguro sobre los perros machos y definitivamente no hay gatos. Creo que son solo para perseguir.

Handsome Poseidon is not just a looker, he’s an academic too. Apparently, this good boy is super interested in the history of Lemnos and was hanging out at the archaeological ruin of Kaveiria. Thankfully, an animal lover works there and alerted us of his plight – and needless to say he wasn’t chipped and no one responded to our posts about his discovery. Maybe he was dumped, maybe he’s unwanted, but WE want him and he’s safe at the shelter now. Our vet estimates Poseidon to be 3 years old and he weighs 26 kilos now. But he’s a little thin and we believe he should be at least 30 kilos. As from being a little under weight, he passed his health check with flying colours and is also sterilised now. So all he needs is a loving home! Poseidon has an amazing, friendly character, who loves to be with people. He’s excellent with the female dogs at the shelter and could certainly live with a female. He’s not crazy about other males and would need some training in meeting males when out and about. As for cats, they must die! No way can he share his home with a cat – snacks on legs in his eyes. Poseidon is a very, very active dog who needs a family that have experience with large, clever breeds like him (preferably experience with German Shepherd types) and know how to stimulate him mentally and physically. He is a very kind boy – not aggressive at all – but due to his size and strength, we believe he shouldn’t live with little kids. As with almost all our dogs, we’ve no idea what happened in Poseidon’s life before he took a fancy to archaeology. This means his future family need to expect to start with all training from the beginning as one would with a little puppy – toilet training, walking on a lead, alone home training – he’ll need it all! But we are sure that he’s a wonderful boy, that will bloom in the heart of the right family. I’m a sweet, handsome boy who just knows that my forever family is out there, ready for me! I love hanging out with people. I’m great with female dogs too and would happily live with one, but I’m not very sure about male dogs yet, and definitely no cats! I think they’re just for chasing!
