Reggie cherche un foyer aimant avec des adoptants ayant de l'expérience avec des chiens plus grands et énergiques, et prêts à consacrer du temps, de l'amour et des efforts pour continuer son éducation et le garder mentalement et physiquement stimulé. Il devra vivre avec des enfants plus âgés, élèves au secondaire, et être le seul animal de compagnie dans la maison avec des propriétaires compréhensifs capables de travailler sur sa désensibilisation en présence d'autres chiens. Reggie adore ses jouets et passera volontiers du temps avec sa balle de tennis préférée, s'allongeant par terre avec elle. Reggie devra rencontrer ses futurs adoptants plusieurs fois avant de rentrer à la maison, veuillez donc prendre cela en compte lors de votre candidature. Veuillez noter que si vous êtes sélectionnés, notre processus d'adoption prend généralement jusqu'à 7 jours, et les futurs adoptants devront venir au centre pour rencontrer Reggie dans les 48 heures suivant leur sélection. Reggie est le rêve ultime pour tous les amoureux des grands chiens ! Il est encore un jeune chien énergique qui va bientôt fêter son premier anniversaire avec nous, et il est idéalement mélangé entre un Rottweiler et un Labrador (très mignon, non ?). Sous son caractère bruyant et drôle, Reggie a un côté doux, sensible et câlin, et il adore être un grand chien de canapé et recevoir tous les câlin. C'est un garçon intelligent qui fera presque n'importe quoi pour une bonne friandise, et il connaît déjà quelques bases comme « assis » et « paume ». Pourriez-vous être le foyer parfait pour ce jeune homme ?

Reggie is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures and provide him with physically and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his busy brain occupied and given him all of the love he deserves. He could live with older secondary school children who are comfortable by a playful and clumsy dog, children who will play with him nicely and will leave him to rest when needed. Reggie likes all of the attention to himself so would prefer to be the only pet in the home, in future he would benefit from some calm and confident walking buddies who will help him to build confidence around socialising with other dogs. He can be easily distracted when learning new skills but will do just about anything for a tasty treat, he’s a clever boy who already knows how to “sit”, “paw”, “crate”, “mat” and is muzzle trained as he will need to be on a lead and muzzle at all times in public. Reggie would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to potter about and have some off lead time at his leisure. He could settle in the home alone with the help of some enrichment to keep him busy and after a walk to tucker him out, so could be left for up to 2 hours, any leaving time will need to be built up gradually once he has had time to settle in. Reggie will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Reggie is the ultimate dream for all the big dog lovers out there! He’s still a bouncy puppy who just spent his 1st birthday with us and is the perfect mix of Rottweiler and Labrador (adorable, right?). He loves his toys, he will play with a teddy, but a ball is his favourite, he will chase and bound around after them, and then start throwing them around for himself, after he’s done, he will quite happily take himself off with his ball and sploot on the floor. Under his silly, goofy personality, Reggie has a sweet and snuggly side, he adores being a lap dog and having all the cuddles. Could you be the perfect home for this young boy?
