Aún disfruta sus caminatas diarias, caminando felizmente y tomando su tiempo para olfatear y explorar su entorno. Smokie is a beautiful 11 year old Akita with a gentle soul, looking for a loving home to spend her golden years in comfort and peace. After a lifetime of companionship, she deserves a quiet place to call her own and somewhere she can truly relax, feel safe, and be cherished. She still enjoys her daily walks, happily plodding along and taking her time to sniff and explore her environment. While toys aren’t really her thing anymore, Smokie’s eyes still light up for a tasty treat or a special snack which is the quickest way to her heart! Smokie would prefer to be the only dog in the home but could have walking friends when out and about, and can live with lower primary school aged children who can respect her relaxed nature. Smokie is fully housetrained and her foster carer describes her as a pleasure to care for. She's also quite happy spending a few hours alone with no issues. Smokie has previously lived with a cat and could do again, following gradual and slow introduction.
