Sugar fue admitido en nuestro cuidado como un pequeño gatito que fue encontrado después de estar involucrado en un accidente de tráfico probable. Después de la evaluación por parte de nuestro equipo veterinario, se descubrió que tenía una pelvis fracturada. Después de varios meses de reposo en jaula y recibiendo mucha atención, está listo para encontrar su hogar para siempre. Sugar se está recuperando bien y nada lo detiene. Es un chico extremadamente guapo y dulce que ama a la gente y le encanta recibir mucha atención. Le encanta acurrucarse con nuestros empleados y voluntarios, pero también tiene un lado muy juguetón y ruidoso, ya que le encanta perseguir sus juguetes por la habitación. Debido a su lesión en la pelvis, Sugar sería mejor adecuado en un hogar tranquilo, donde podría ser un gato solo en interiores al principio para permitir un seguimiento cercano mientras continúa construyendo fuerza y estabilidad en su pelvis. Una vez establecido en su nuevo hogar y mostrando una mejora en su fuerza y movilidad, podrá tener gradualmente acceso al exterior. También le encantaría un hogar donde sus nuevos dueños estén presentes la mayor parte del día para ayudarlo a adaptarse a su nuevo entorno. También le encantaría tener muchos lugares cómodos donde pueda recostarse y relajarse, observando el mundo pasar. Sugar podría compartir su hogar con niños mayores de 14 años que estén acostumbrados a los gatos y comprendan que puede necesitar su propio espacio mientras se adapta a su nuevo hogar. No se sabe cómo reaccionaría a otros animales domésticos en el hogar.

Sugar was admitted into our care as a young kitten who was found after being involved a suspected road traffic accident. After examination by our veterinary team, it was found that he had a fractured pelvis. After several months of cage rest and after getting lots of TLC, he is ready to find his forever home! Sugar is recovering well and nothing holds him back! He is an extremely handsome and sweet boy who adores people and loves getting lots of attention. He loves cuddling up to our staff and volunteers but also has a very playful, boisterous side, as he loves to chase his toys around the room! Due to his pelvic injury, Sugar would be best suited in a calm home, where he could be an indoor only cat initially to allow for close monitoring while he continues to build strength and stability in his pelvis. Once settled into his new home and showing improved strength and mobility, he can then gradually be given access to the outdoors. He would also love a home where his new owners are around for most of the day to help him settle and adjust into his new environment. He would also love to have lots of cosy spots where he can lie back and relax, watching the world go by! Sugar could share his home with children over the age of 14 years who are used to cats and understand he may need his own space while settling into his new home. It is unknown how he would react to other pets in the home.
