Sugar a été admis dans notre garde en tant que petit chaton trouvé après avoir été impliqué dans un accident de la route suspecté. Après examen par notre équipe vétérinaire, il a été constaté qu'il avait une fracture du bassin. Après plusieurs mois de repos en cage et après avoir reçu beaucoup d'attention, il est prêt à trouver sa maison pour toujours ! Sugar se rétablit bien et rien ne le freine ! C'est un jeune homme très séduisant et affectueux qui adore les gens et aime recevoir beaucoup d'attention. Il aime se blottir contre nos employés et bénévoles mais a aussi un côté très joueur et bruyant, car il adore courir après ses jouets dans la pièce ! En raison de sa blessure au bassin, Sugar serait le plus adapté à un foyer calme, où il pourrait être un chat uniquement intérieur au début pour permettre un suivi étroit pendant qu'il continue à renforcer et stabiliser son bassin. Une fois installé dans sa nouvelle maison et montrant une amélioration de sa force et de sa mobilité, il pourra ensuite progressivement avoir accès à l'extérieur. Il aimera également un foyer où ses nouveaux propriétaires seront présents la majeure partie de la journée pour l'aider à s'adapter à son nouvel environnement. Il apprécierait aussi avoir beaucoup de coins confortables où il peut se reposer et observer le monde passer ! Sugar pourrait partager sa maison avec des enfants âgés de plus de 14 ans qui sont habitués aux chats et comprennent qu'il aura besoin de son propre espace pendant qu'il s'adapte à sa nouvelle maison. On ne sait pas comment il réagirait aux autres animaux de la maison.

Sugar was admitted into our care as a young kitten who was found after being involved a suspected road traffic accident. After examination by our veterinary team, it was found that he had a fractured pelvis. After several months of cage rest and after getting lots of TLC, he is ready to find his forever home! Sugar is recovering well and nothing holds him back! He is an extremely handsome and sweet boy who adores people and loves getting lots of attention. He loves cuddling up to our staff and volunteers but also has a very playful, boisterous side, as he loves to chase his toys around the room! Due to his pelvic injury, Sugar would be best suited in a calm home, where he could be an indoor only cat initially to allow for close monitoring while he continues to build strength and stability in his pelvis. Once settled into his new home and showing improved strength and mobility, he can then gradually be given access to the outdoors. He would also love a home where his new owners are around for most of the day to help him settle and adjust into his new environment. He would also love to have lots of cosy spots where he can lie back and relax, watching the world go by! Sugar could share his home with children over the age of 14 years who are used to cats and understand he may need his own space while settling into his new home. It is unknown how he would react to other pets in the home.
