Hello lovely people, I am the scrumptious Sugarplum! I originally came into care as a stray with my mum and two siblings. I’m a sociable girl, who loves a stroke, especially behind the ears. I love to play with toys, I am super smart and get through puzzle feeders with ease! I tend to show off my genious at night when it’s nice and quiet. I will need a bit of time to adjust to my new surroundings and become friends with my new humans, so please be patient with me! I am a very chatty girl, especially at at feeding time, but I will hold full conversations with you, so you best like to hear all about my day! I love food, and treats are definitely the way to my heart, I may even try to help myself by knocking food out of your hands or giving your hand nibbles to hurry you up, but I am currently on an obesity diet and will need help from my new owners to not gain weight! I’m not a fan of other cats and do not like dogs. Young children are too noisy and overstimulating for me and therefore I would benefit form a home where I am the only pet as I like to be the centre of attention and there are no young children. When I feel stressed I overgroom, which has caused some patches of hair loss. This is something my new family should be aware of, and I may benefit from calming support while I settle in. Once settled, I will require access to outside. I am vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV and up to date with flea and worming treatments. I am currently on atopica and amitryptylene for the hair loss and stress. Otherwise, the vet has given me a clean bill of health and all that is left is for me to find my forever home!
