Tato comenzó su historia en Rumanía, donde nació en una escuela. Se llamó al refugio local y los capturadores de perros fueron a recoger toda la camada. Desde ese día, lo único que ha conocido es una vida muy ocupada y caótica en un refugio público rumano. Era una camada grande de la que vino Tato y todos sus hermanos fueron rápidamente adoptados y comenzaron sus nuevas vidas en el Reino Unido. Tato quedó atrás con su hermana Rhubarb, y ambos crecieron cada vez más temerosos de las personas. Acordamos tomar a estos bebés antes de que perdieran su oportunidad de encontrar alguna vez una familia propia, ya que habrían sido simplemente números allí y perderse entre las caras en constante aumento de perros asustados. Tato lleva unas semanas con nosotros y está haciendo progresos lentos, necesita una casa muy paciente y comprensiva para ayudarlo a adaptarse y sentirse seguro. El mundo entero de Tato son otros perros, no podrá soportar una casa sin al menos otro perro residente, uno que sea amigable, seguro y pueda mostrarle cómo simplemente ser un perro. Tato no puede hacer la prueba con gatos en este momento debido a su miedo. Tato está demasiado asustado para saber cuál sería su verdadero nivel de energía en una casa, pero ama correr y jugar con los otros perros en el rescatista. Mientras Tato esté con otro perro, debería estar bien para dejarlo solo durante aproximadamente 4 horas. Sin otro perro, tiene ansiedad seria y gritará la casa entera. Necesitará aprender con el tiempo que está bien estar solo y que es seguro, nunca ha estado lejos de otros perros más de unos minutos. Tato's story started in Romania where he was born in a school. The local pound was called and the dog catchers went to round up the full litter. From that day, all he has ever known is a very busy and chaotic life in a Romanian public shelter. It was a large litter that Tato came from and all of his siblings were quickly adopted and starting their new lives in the UK. Tato was left behind with his sister Rhubarb where they both grew every more fearful of humans. We agreed to take these babies on before they lost their chance of ever being able to find a family of their own as they would have just become numbers over there and lost of the ever expanding faces or terrified dogs. Tato has been with us a few weeks now and is making slow progess, he's going to need a very patient and understanding home to help him settle in and feel safe. Tato's whole world is other dogs, he wont' cope in a home without at least one other resident dog living there, one that is friendly, confident and can show them how to just be a dog. Tato is too fearful to be able to safely cat test at this time. Tato is too scared to see what his real energy levels would be like in a home but he does LOVE to run and play around with the other dogs at the rescue So long as Tato is with another dog, he should be ok to be left for approx 4 hours. Without another dog, he has serious anxiety and will scream the place down. He will need to slowly learn over time that it is ok to be alone and that he is safe, he has never not been around other dogs for more than a few minutes. Tato is too fearful to attempt lead training at this time Tato has no form of basic training
