Tato a commencé son histoire en Roumanie, où il est né dans une école. Le refuge local a été appelé et les chasseurs de chiens sont allés chercher toute la portée. Depuis ce jour, tout ce qu'il a toujours connu, c'est une vie très occupée et chaotique dans un refuge public roumain. C'était une grande portée dont Tato faisait partie et tous ses frères et sœurs ont été rapidement adoptés et ont commencé leurs nouvelles vies au Royaume-Uni. Tato a été laissé derrière avec sa sœur Rhubarb, et ils ont tous deux de plus en plus peur des humains. Nous avons accepté de prendre ces bébés avant qu'ils ne perdent leur chance de trouver un foyer car ils auraient simplement été des nombres là-bas et se seraient perdus parmi les visages de plus en plus nombreux de chiens effrayés. Tato est avec nous depuis quelques semaines maintenant et fait des progrès lents, il aura besoin d'un foyer très patient et compréhensif pour l'aider à s'installer et à se sentir en sécurité. Le monde entier de Tato est constitué d'autres chiens, il ne pourra pas s'adapter dans un foyer sans au moins un autre chien vivant là-bas, un chien amical, confiant et qui pourra lui montrer comment être simplement un chien. Tato n'est pas suffisamment confiant pour pouvoir tester la présence d'un chat pour l'instant. Tato a trop peur pour savoir à quoi ressemblerait son niveau réel d'énergie dans un foyer, mais il adore courir et jouer avec les autres chiens du refuge. Tant que Tato est avec un autre chien, il devrait aller bien s'il reste seul pendant environ 4 heures. Sans un autre chien, il a des graves anxiétés et hurlera la maison entière. Il devra apprendre progressivement qu'il est acceptable d'être seul et qu'il est en sécurité, il n'a jamais été absent des autres chiens pendant plus quelques minutes. Tato n'est pas suffisamment confiant pour tenter un entraînement au collier pour l'instant. Tato n'a aucun type d'entraînement de base.

Tato's story started in Romania where he was born in a school. The local pound was called and the dog catchers went to round up the full litter. From that day, all he has ever known is a very busy and chaotic life in a Romanian public shelter. It was a large litter that Tato came from and all of his siblings were quickly adopted and starting their new lives in the UK. Tato was left behind with his sister Rhubarb where they both grew every more fearful of humans. We agreed to take these babies on before they lost their chance of ever being able to find a family of their own as they would have just become numbers over there and lost of the ever expanding faces or terrified dogs. Tato has been with us a few weeks now and is making slow progess, he's going to need a very patient and understanding home to help him settle in and feel safe. Tato's whole world is other dogs, he wont' cope in a home without at least one other resident dog living there, one that is friendly, confident and can show them how to just be a dog. Tato is too fearful to be able to safely cat test at this time. Tato is too scared to see what his real energy levels would be like in a home but he does LOVE to run and play around with the other dogs at the rescue So long as Tato is with another dog, he should be ok to be left for approx 4 hours. Without another dog, he has serious anxiety and will scream the place down. He will need to slowly learn over time that it is ok to be alone and that he is safe, he has never not been around other dogs for more than a few minutes. Tato is too fearful to attempt lead training at this time Tato has no form of basic training
