Teddy estaba un poco desorientado cuando llegó a nosotros, pero qué transformación ha tenido! Es un chico muy bonito, completamente negro con una mancha blanca brillante en el pecho. Un muchacho de tamaño medio con un corazón grande, Teddy es un cruza entre Labrador y Staffie, según su naturaleza cariñosa, personalidad amigable y amor por estar justo en tu espacio personal. Lamentablemente, Teddy no ha tenido a nadie a su favor antes. Ha estado dando vueltas por los sitios de "mascotas gratis" y ha tenido dificultades para encontrar la estructura que necesita para realmente prosperar. Ahora que ha estado con nosotros un tiempo, se ha adaptado a una rutina y lo ama absolutamente. Le gusta aprender y es un estudiante ideal, aprendiendo muy bien la formación. Le encantaría continuar esto en su hogar definitivo. El cambio en Teddy desde que llegó es asombroso, es manejado con confianza por todo nuestro personal quien ama su lado bromista. Teddy está limpio en su jaula y duerme allí felizmente por la noche. Camina bien con correa, pero puede ser incierto sobre qué hacer cuando ve a otros perros con correa, no fue socializado adecuadamente como cachorro así que es el resultado. Antes no compartió espacio con otros perros, sería más feliz como el único perro en el hogar. Teddy es bueno con niños; sin embargo, debido a sus niveles de energía, puede ser un poco ruidoso a veces. Por esta razón, creemos que sería más adecuado para un hogar con niños mayores de 14 años que tengan experiencia con perros. Teddy no sería adecuado para un hogar con gatos. Teddy es un perro activo. Cuando llegó primero, era muy rápido y claramente no le habían enseñado a reducir la velocidad. Desde que se unió a nuestro Boot Camp para Perros, ha hecho grandes avances y está aprendiendo a relajarse. Es amigable con todos y es fácil de manejar por todo nuestro personal. Teddy puede ser vocal en ocasiones, pero esto es comportamiento de búsqueda de atención en lugar de cualquier señal de miedo o agresión. Fue severamente sub-socializado así que lo estamos exponiendo lentamente a más y más, ofreciendo apoyo y construcción de confianza. El dueño ideal de Teddy será alguien comprometido a continuar con la formación que hemos realizado. Teddy was a bit all over the place when he first arrived with us, but what a transformation he has had! He is a beautiful, all-black boy with a bright white patch on his chest. A medium sized lad with a big heart, Teddy is a Labrador Staffie mix, judging by his affectionate nature, friendly personality and love of being right in your personal space. Unfortunately, Teddy hasn’t really had anyone in his corner before. He has bounced around the “free pet” sites and struggled to find the structure he needs to truly thrive. Now that he has been with us for a little while, he has settled into a routine and is absolutely loving it. He enjoys learning and is an ideal student, picking up training extremely well. He would love to continue this in his forever home. The change in Teddy since arriving is staggering, he is confidently handled by all of our staff who love his goofy side. Teddy is clean in his crate and happily sleeps there at night. He walks well on the lead but he can be unsure of what to do with himself when seeing other dogs on lead, he was not properly socialised as a pup so this is the result. He hasn’t previously shared space with other dogs, he would be happiest as the only dog in the home. Teddy is good with children; however, due to his energy levels, he can be a little rambunctious at times. For this reason, we feel he would be best suited to a home with children aged 14 years and over who have some experience with dogs. Teddy would not be suitable for a home with cats. Teddy is an active dog. When he first arrived, he was a mile a minute and clearly hadn’t been taught how to slow down. Since joining our Doggy Dens Boot Camp, he has made great progress and is learning to settle. He is friendly with everyone and is easily handled by all of our staff. Teddy can be vocal at times, but this is attention-seeking behaviour rather than any sign of fear or aggression. He was severely under socialised so we are slowly exposing him to more and more, offering support and confidence building. Teddy’s ideal owner will be committed to continuing the training we have put in. A handling session will be provided before adoption to ensure both you and Teddy start off on the right foot. Teddy is a truly loving character with bundles of personality. A goofy, silly lad who is simply looking for someone to give him the chance he deserves.
