Teddy était un peu tout le monde lorsqu'il est arrivé avec nous, mais quelle transformation! Il est un beau jeune homme noir avec une grande tache blanche sur la poitrine. Un garçon de taille moyenne avec un grand cœur, Teddy est un croisé Labrador Staffie, en se basant sur sa nature affectueuse, son caractère amical et son amour d'être tout près de vous. Malheureusement, Teddy n'a jamais vraiment eu quelqu'un qui le soutienne. Il a bondi autour des sites "animaux gratuits" et a eu du mal à trouver la structure dont il a besoin pour vraiment prospérer. Maintenant qu'il est avec nous depuis un moment, il s'est adapté à une routine et adore ça. Il aime apprendre et est un élève idéal, assimilant très bien l'entraînement. Il aimerait continuer cela dans son foyer définitif. Le changement chez Teddy depuis son arrivée est incroyable, il est géré confiantement par tout notre personnel qui adore son côté drôle. Teddy est propre dans sa caisse et dort volontiers la nuit. Il marche bien en laisse mais peut être hésitant quant à ce qu'il doit faire lorsqu'il voit d'autres chiens en laisse, il n'a pas été correctement socialisé en petit chien donc c'est le résultat. Il n'a jamais partagé d'espace avec d'autres chiens, il serait le plus heureux comme seul chien dans le foyer. Teddy est bon avec les enfants; cependant, en raison de son énergie, il peut être un peu turbulent parfois. Pour cette raison, nous pensons qu'il serait le mieux adapté à un foyer avec des enfants âgés de 14 ans et plus qui ont une certaine expérience avec les chiens. Teddy ne convient pas à un foyer avec des chats. Teddy est un chien actif. Lorsqu'il est arrivé, il allait à toute vitesse et n'avait clairement pas appris comment ralentir. Depuis qu'il est avec notre Doggy Dens Boot Camp, il a fait d'importants progrès et apprend à se calmer. Il est amical avec tout le monde et facile à manipuler par tout notre personnel. Teddy peut parfois être vocal, mais c'est un comportement de recherche d'attention plutôt qu'un signe de peur ou d'agressivité. Il était sévèrement mal socialisé donc nous l'exposons progressivement à davantage, en offrant du soutien et de la construction de confiance. Le propriétaire idéal de Teddy sera engagé à continuer l'entraînement que nous avons mis en place. Une séance de manipulation sera fournie avant l'adoption pour s'assurer que vous et Teddy commencez sur les bonnes bases. Teddy est un personnage vraiment aimant avec beaucoup de personnalité. Un garçon drôle et bête qui cherche simplement quelqu'un qui lui donne la chance qu'il mérite.

Teddy was a bit all over the place when he first arrived with us, but what a transformation he has had! He is a beautiful, all-black boy with a bright white patch on his chest. A medium sized lad with a big heart, Teddy is a Labrador Staffie mix, judging by his affectionate nature, friendly personality and love of being right in your personal space. Unfortunately, Teddy hasn’t really had anyone in his corner before. He has bounced around the “free pet” sites and struggled to find the structure he needs to truly thrive. Now that he has been with us for a little while, he has settled into a routine and is absolutely loving it. He enjoys learning and is an ideal student, picking up training extremely well. He would love to continue this in his forever home. The change in Teddy since arriving is staggering, he is confidently handled by all of our staff who love his goofy side. Teddy is clean in his crate and happily sleeps there at night. He walks well on the lead but he can be unsure of what to do with himself when seeing other dogs on lead, he was not properly socialised as a pup so this is the result. He hasn’t previously shared space with other dogs, he would be happiest as the only dog in the home. Teddy is good with children; however, due to his energy levels, he can be a little rambunctious at times. For this reason, we feel he would be best suited to a home with children aged 14 years and over who have some experience with dogs. Teddy would not be suitable for a home with cats. Teddy is an active dog. When he first arrived, he was a mile a minute and clearly hadn’t been taught how to slow down. Since joining our Doggy Dens Boot Camp, he has made great progress and is learning to settle. He is friendly with everyone and is easily handled by all of our staff. Teddy can be vocal at times, but this is attention-seeking behaviour rather than any sign of fear or aggression. He was severely under socialised so we are slowly exposing him to more and more, offering support and confidence building. Teddy’s ideal owner will be committed to continuing the training we have put in. A handling session will be provided before adoption to ensure both you and Teddy start off on the right foot. Teddy is a truly loving character with bundles of personality. A goofy, silly lad who is simply looking for someone to give him the chance he deserves.
