Willow es una chica dulce que ama a la gente. Es selectiva con los perros y aunque forma amistades con algunos perros, hay otros en el refugio con los que no se lleva bien y gruñe para pedir espacio. Se cree que sufrió un accidente de tráfico y quedó con una lesión en la espalda. Quedó arrastrándose por las calles durante muchas semanas y tuvo malas infecciones y úlceras en las patas traseras y en la zona del estómago. También estaba infectada con parásitos sanguíneos. Fue tratada con antibióticos agresivos durante varias semanas para que estuviera lo suficientemente fuerte para la cirugía. Primero se le amputó una pata trasera y dos semanas después, la otra pata trasera. Pasó mucho tiempo en la clínica para asegurarse de que se había recuperado antes de ser transferida a un refugio. Necesitará ruedas para sus paseos. Es incontinente y necesitará expresión de la vejiga. Lleva una bolsa de arrastre cuando hace ejercicio al exterior para prevenir heridas. Willow is a sweet girl who loves people. She is dog selective and although she forms friendships with some dogs there are others at the shelter she does not care for and will growl to ask for space. She is believed to have suffered a road accident and was left with a spinal injury. She was left dragging herself around the streets for many weeks and got bad infections and ulcers on her back legs and tummy area. She was also infected with blood parasites. She was treated with aggressive antibiotics for several weeks to get her strong enough for surgery. She firstly had one hind leg amputated and 2 weeks later, had the other hind leg removed. She spent a long time in the clinic to ensure she was healed before being transferred to a shelter. She will need wheels for her walks. She is incontinent and will need bladder expression. She wears a drag bag when exercising outside to prevent wounds. She has been through so much in a short space of time and had to endure such a lot of pain and trauma. We would love to see her in an experienced home with lots of love for the rest of her days.
