Arthur fue encontrado en la calle en Marbella y llevado al refugio, pero su humano nunca volvió a recogerlo... Su nombre original era Thor, que ahora cambiamos a Arthur para un nuevo comienzo, ya que no reaccionaba a Thor de todos modos. Arthur es un joven bonito con pelaje negro brillante. Es más pequeño de lo habitual en Amstaff, más parecido a un Staffy con su cuerpo compacto pero pequeño y sus patas cortas. Sus orejas viven su propia vida, una doblada a un lado y otra colgando al viento. En el refugio Arthur vive junto a su novia Madison, y van a pasear y correr al parque juntos. Como es un joven, Arthur le gusta correr detrás de su amigo en el parque y jugar un poco bruscamente, afortunadamente Madison le permite sus travesuras. Para su hogar definitivo, Arthur quiere vivir con una perra femenina fuerte y educada, que le muestre límites y lo guíe hacia la madurez. También podría ser perfectamente un perro único en un hogar sin problemas, sin embargo, recomendamos encarecidamente participar en paseos grupales de socialización canina, para que se mantenga en contacto con otros perros y crezca como un pequeño cañón socialmente educado. Thor es muy amigable con los humanos y ama ir de paseo con los voluntarios. Va por la correa con energía ya que está motivado para ir de paseo, pero debemos tener en cuenta que es un perro joven que solo tiene un paseo corto al día... Una vez que se traslade a una vida diaria normal, seguramente será más tranquilo en la correa. Arthur salió todo el día con un voluntario y parece que probablemente aún no haya experimentado mucho "vida normal" con humanos, por eso Arthur busca un hogar tranquilo en un barrio tranquilo, un humano que lo presente lentamente y con paciencia al mundo humano. Aunque no reaccionó a los ruidos del tráfico o a los coches, las experiencias aceleradas de una vida urbana son un poco demasiado para él ahora, y un hogar cerca de la naturaleza sería mucho más deseable. No le gusta mucho los gatos, así que un hogar con gatos no es una opción en este momento. Es sociable y educado con todos los humanos, también es bueno con los niños - una cosa a tener en cuenta es que cuando una persona levanta un premio/alimento y no se lo da, eventualmente puede saltar para alcanzar la golosina, algo a tener en cuenta respecto a los niños. La altura de los hombros de Arthur es de solo 50 cm. Para la adopción en España, se necesitaría un registro PPP, y el refugio puede ayudar con eso. Arthur was found on the street in Marbella and brought to the shelter, but his human never came to pick him up anymore... His original name was Thor, which we now changed to Arthur for a fresher start, as he did not react on Thor anyway. Arthur is a beautiful teenage boy with a shiny black fur. He is on the smaller side of Amstaff, more direction Staffy with his chunky but small body and shorter legs. His ears are living their own life, with one folded to one side, and another flopping around in the wind. In the shelter Arthur lives next to his girlfriend Madison, and they go walking and running in the park together. Being a teenage boy like he is, Arthur likes to run after his friend in the park and play a bit roughly, lucky for him Madison allows him his shenanigans. For his forever home, Arthur would like to live together with an educator sturdy female dog, who will show him boundaries and guide him to adulthood. He could also very well be an only dog of a home without problems, however we would then definitely recommend taking part in canine socialisation group walks, so he can stay in contact with other dogs, and grow to be a socially educated little cannon ball. Thor is very cool with humans and loves to go on walks with volunteers. He is walking on the leash energetically as he is motivated to go on a walk, but we need to keep in mind that this is a young dog, who only has one short walk per day… Once he moves into a normal daily life, he will surely be calmer on the leash. Arthur has been out for the day with a volunteer, and it seems to us that he probably has not experienced much of “normal life” with humans yet, and for that reason, Arthur is looking for an easygoing home in a calm neighborhood, a human who will slowly and patiently introduce him to the human world. While he did not react to traffic noises or cars, the fast-paced experiences of a city life are a bit too much for him right now, and a home near the future would be much more desirable! He is not very keen on cats, so a home with cats is not an option at the moment. He is social and polite with all humans, and he is also good with children - one thing to keep in mind is that when a person is holding up a treat/food, and not giving it to him, then eventually he can jump up to reach the snack, that is something to keep in mind regarding children. Arthur’s shoulder height is just 50cm. For adoption in Spain, a PPP registration would be needed, and the shelter can help with that. Arthur is also available for international adoptions.
