Este es Buba. Ella es una chica hermosa y dulce que solía vivir como callejera en las calles de Macedonia. Fue capturada y llevada al refugio público para esterilizarla y vacunarla. Se suponía que sería liberada nuevamente para vivir como callejera, pero cuando dio positivo para Leishmania esto cambió. La política general es que los perros con Leishmania no deben ser liberados y si no son adoptados, serán eutanasia en algún momento. Pero Buba está haciendo muy bien y no muestra síntomas cuando está en medicación, y como sus posibilidades de ser adoptada en Macedonia están cerca del cero, su futuro parecía desesperanzador. Afortunadamente, un refugio local decidió salvar la vida de Buba y acogerla. Ha estado allí desde hace mucho tiempo esperando ser vista y nos gustaría ayudarla a encontrar el hogar perfecto. Buba es una chica increíblemente dulce, amigable y gentil. Le gusta la gente y se lleva maravillosamente bien con otros perros. Tiene edad media y su nivel de actividad es medio, por lo tanto será un excelente animal familiar, pero siendo un cruzado pastor grande, prosperará mejor en un hogar rural/semi rural con un jardín de buen tamaño y áreas verdes alrededor. Aparte de su bien manejada leishmaniosis, está sana y saludable. Está esterilizada, con microchip, completamente vacunada y se lleva bien con personas y perros. Con una introducción gradual también puede vivir con gatos.

This is Buba! She is a beautiful, sweet girl who used to live as a stray in the streets of Macedonia. She was caught and brought to the public shelter for spaying and vaccination. She was supposed to be released again to live as a stray, but when she tested positive for Leishmania this changed. The general policy is that dogs with Leishmania are not to be released and if they are not adopted, they will be euthanized sooner or later. But Buba is doing so well and shows no symptoms when she is on medication, and since her chances of being adopted in Macedonia are close to zero her future prospective looked bleak. Thankfully a local rescue shelter decided to save Buba’s life and take her in. She has been there for a long time now waiting to be seen and we would like to help her finding the perfect home! Buba is an amazingly sweet, friendly and gentle girl. She likes people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is middle age and her activity level is medium, so she will be an amazing family pet, but being a large shepherd cross she will thrive best in a rural/semi rural home with a nice sized garden and green areas around. Apart from her well managed leishmania she is fit and healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and gets along well with people and dogs. With gradual introduction she can also live with cats.
