18-04-26 Coan es un chico encantador que ha venido a nosotros de un criador para encontrar su hogar para siempre. Cuando llegó, sufría de glaucoma y lamentablemente tuvo que tener su ojo izquierdo retirado, pero está recuperándose bien y no ha dejado que esto lo ralentice. También ha tenido una limpieza dental y ya no le quedan muchos dientes. Es un hombre muy dulce, pero aún es un poco nervioso con la gente y necesitará tiempo y paciencia para construir su confianza. Aún no está acostumbrado a ser manipulado, por lo que necesitará adoptantes tranquilos y comprensivos que estén dispuestos a dejarlo ir a su propio ritmo y no lo apresuren. Con el tiempo, la bondad y la seguridad, comenzará a sentirse seguro y mostrará su verdadera naturaleza cariñosa. 18-04-26 Coan is a lovely boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. When he arrived, he was suffering with a glaucoma and unfortunately did need to have his left eye removed, but he is recovering well and hasn't let this slow him down. He has also had a dental and doesn't have very many teeth remaining. He is a very sweet little man, but he is still a little nervous around people and will need some time and patience to build his confidence. He isn't yet used to being handled, so will need calm, understanding adopters who are happy to let him go at his own pace and not rush him. With time, kindness, and reassurance, he will begin to feel safe and show his true, affectionate nature. Coan relies heavily on his kennel friends for confidence, so he will need at least one other kind and patient resident dog in his new home to help him settle in and learn that the world isn’t so scary. As Coan has never lived in a home before, he will need support with all the basics, including house training and learning to walk on a lead. His new family should be prepared to gently guide him through these new experiences. He could be homed with older, dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving him space while he adjusts. Coan is a truly sweet boy, he just needs a patient and loving home where he can take his time, grow in confidence, and feel safe. Coan has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
