Katy es un perro muy especial. Luchó para recuperar la vida con una fuerza increíble y una voluntad inspiradora de sobrevivir. A pesar de su apariencia delicada, tiene el corazón de un verdadero guerrero. Quería vivir y puedes sentirlo en cada momento con ella. Katy fue atropellada por un automóvil y llegó a nuestro refugio después. Al principio arrastraba sus patas detrás de ella y no podía controlar su vejiga. Paso a paso, luchó para recuperarse. Hoy en día puede usar sus patas nuevamente, aunque sus patas traseras aún están un poco inestables. Su vejiga ya no es un problema. Katy ama los entornos tranquilos y silenciosos. No le gusta estar en el centro de atención y prefiere simplemente estar allí sin mucho ruido o emoción a su alrededor. No pide atención, pero realmente ama pasar tiempo con las personas. Las caricias suaves y los abrazos son su pequeño pedazo de cielo: los acepta con gratitud y devoción total. Se lleva bien con otros perros, aunque es bastante reservada con ellos. Lo más importante para Katy es un hogar tranquilo y amoroso donde se sienta seguro, querido y libre para ser ella misma. Katy is a very special little dog. She fought her way back to life with incredible strength and an inspiring will to survive. Despite her delicate appearance, she has the heart of a true warrior. She wanted to live – and you can feel that in every single moment with her.Katy was hit by a car and came to our shelter afterward. In the beginning, she dragged her legs behind her and was unable to control her bladder. Step by step, she fought her way back. Today she is able to use her legs again, although her hind legs are still a bit wobbly. Her bladder is no longer an issue.Katy loves calm and quiet surroundings. She doesn’t like being the center of attention and prefers simply being there without too much noise or excitement around her. She doesn’t demand attention, but she truly loves spending time with people. Gentle strokes and cuddles are her little piece of heaven – she accepts them with gratitude and complete devotion.She gets along well with other dogs, even if she is rather reserved around them.
